I found Be'lakor through the suggestions CZcams made.
Have to say it was the best suggestion I ever got.
Bought all the cd's and can't stop listening to them.
Sure hope they will come to the Netherlands when all this Covid shizzle is over and done with

I totally get what Steven was saying about the balance.. at the end of high school I had to decide between pursuing a career in music (had been playing piano seriously for 10 years) or something else and I went with something else because I feared that if music was my career it might snuff the joy I got out of it and maybe even block it from being the outlet I needed. Relying on something to be the livelihood creates entirely different pressure and stress and changes the relationship. I hope the member of Be'lakor know they're very respected and appreciated in what they do but manage to keep it as a hobby and passion.

Yeah man im a personal trainer and my desire to be extremely fit has waned when it became a routine...I still love it but never the same. He struck me as a centered smart dude

That was a GREAT interview! Thank you very much! Be'lakor is my favorite band since "of breath and bone" album, and until now. They getting better-and-better. I hope one day go see them live. They are reals masters of music, and by my own i can call they music they are creating is pure ART.

Saw you mention in a reply you’ve had a Be’Lakor interview, and dug through 2.5 years to check it out. Very cool. Good questions. Thanks for uploading

This band is just so inspirational and has been since their first album. Lots of South African metalheads love them

    Really good interview!
There's some things that were interesting.
1 - The fact that they all work in another job or project, and they see the band as a hobby and not as a "work".
2 - The bands that had some inspiration for Steve, like Alcest (really good atmosferic French band) and Animals as Leaders (top musicians in the djent scenery).
3 - How widespread they became because of Social Medias, CZcams and Spotify (the last one were I found them) and how this afect every band, especially in subgenres that arent popular.

    Nice job, man.
I'm really looking forward to them touring in the US, though I'm not too hopeful they make it to my neck of the woods. 😁

I want to know what ever happened to that USA tour. It didn’t happen. They played Australia and I know their European tour either just started or will be starting soon. 😢
