On our farm we breed our gilts at 8 months so that by the time they reach first year they would have farrowed once. Thanks so much for your tutorial . One day our son brought home a pig . We just let it run around with the ducks in the open air and it ate the duck feed that we fed our ducks . ( All purpose feed which we bought in a sack ) . Then after 6 months it was taken for human consumption .
