Bcoz punalur aryankav is ghat section .There exists gradients about 1in80....So there is chance to wheel slip if there is rain,.To avoid such scenario banking engine to be provided....

@@dipuravi4870 exactly....It's 30kmph...Gradually it may change to 45with or without banker...Or with multi...I think 45 with multi is sufficient....

No need of it. It is a prestigious service of this qln-sct section which is 115 years old. There is more than 2 daily services from tvc towards chennai like chennai mail, chennai superfast, ananya puri, ac express. It's enough , no need of extension.
