I think getting out of one's comfort zone is important! That way you don't stick to the same old and perhaps you may come to like what you see :). For what it's worth, I thin you look fantastic in this and it suits you. What pretty happy colours. If it makes you smile, you should embrace that!. Thanks for explaining your mods. It's pretty roomy, but I'd still go with bust measurement unless you are a sewing cup C and above.
