I worked at walmart during some black fridays and it is kind of true. They bring in truckloads of different merchandise that's less quality, such as the same model of tv with 1-2 less ports and sell them for the original price and then 'marked down'.

This is the reason, why in the country i live in black friday of the equivalent to it is nowadays focused on e-commerce and online shopping, because the store owners don't want a crowd of brawling customers rampaging and destroying through their shop or a row of ambulances in front of the shopping centre. On the other side, the postmen have to bear the load - twice because a lot of stuff gets returned after a few days. With long waiting lines at the post office.
The only time i withnessed such a spectacle was around 20 years ago, when a small town held an open sunday. As soon as they opened the door, the horde was rushing in, sprinting, stumbling and trampling over each other. And this was in a town with a population count of 10.000. I also remember a lot of couples fighting. I saw a man throwing some random item in the face of his girlfriend, which was hilarious to watch, but certainly not a nice thing he did. I was 12 years old and both amused and terrified of it. Felt like a zombie apocalypse with slapstick comedy. Never attended such an event again.
I have binge watched 20 AI commercials in a row, and I never realized how much I didn't know.
This is how I'd imagine a future SNL skit supplemented by AI.
