Y’all are legendary. Even though I’m a white guy who didn’t grow up in quite the same environment, I’ve seen and been through a lot of rough shit. Thank you Cube for being a man of virtue. You’ve taught me a lot of what it really means to be a man and survive in this crazy world. Ethnicity and background doesn’t matter when it comes to music, message and soul. What matters is just what he said: if the creator of something has true character and good intentions, that’s what makes the art/creation actually have meaningful value.

Every instrument that’s use in recordings they are created by white ppl Asian ppl ect. First saw Ice Cube live on The Predator tour in the U.K. Dub C was his hype man. I went out and bought Ain’t A Damn Thing Changed the very next day.
Dub is still under the radar as a rapper, but he is truly one of the greats. So good to see he and Cube still friendin’ after all these years.

I Grew Up in Phoenix when Cube was a Student , as Well as a Rapper . We would See him in His Whip. I went to a NWA concert with DOC , Too Short , Eazy E ! We relized Who He was .

As an east coast baby I gotta say....
Yeah hands down cube is pound for pound the best storyteller in hip hop. Not just that he told many iconic stories, but you have to be lyrically advanced or elite to consistently do it over and over. In the 80's nwa did not get radio play but the word of mouth carried all across America. His impact is unmatched. Only a very small few can even be compared. The fact that he went on to write legendary films alongside that should show his greatness alone.

I grew up 4 blocks down the street from Washington High. Its great to see black men from my hood grow up and accomplish great things. WC lived 8 blocks from me while Cube lived west of Normandie 3 mins from where i lived

I really enjoyed this interview. Cube is a legend and I appreciate his realness from day 1. Growing up in Compton, I always admired his storytelling as a youth. I wasn't allowed to listen to NWA, but thankfully my sister snuck and got us the album anyway, lol. Been a fan since 88❤

From the interview he did with Tucker to this interview, it's great to see a side of one of the greatest MC's to ever hold a mic and one that we all idolized growing up. Cube is such a genuine person and it goes to show that you can never paint a person with such a narrow brush just because they may put out a certain type of music or act a certain way in a movie. I'm glad he stays true to self and doesn't sell his soul to The Gatekeepers.
