Hope you are feeling a tad better Fi. I thought you and Danny were amazing. Danny appeared to clear those higher fences easily. The photography was brilliant. I take it that was down to mum? You are a team. I love watching your vlog. Take care. 😊

You both look amazing together! What great facilities there! My partner fitted the stables there, I saw the stables and thought they look familiar 😂 x

I used to ride a standardbred n he used to almost shuffle in his walk and trot when first sat on (esp in the school) xx out hacking he was fab although he would occasionally pace when asked for canter xx I don’t know if it’s a trait or not sorry he ended up being pts as he had recurrent splints and issues with the joints in his front legs xx he was a lovely boy xx😢 I would just give yours time to mature and produce him slowly and just c how he goes he will prob fill out n mature more over the next couple of years xx he will let u no if he’s in pain etc xx😘

I would personally get your vet to come and do neurological tests on Massimo. Hopefully it’s absolutely nothing, and just a wobbly baby, but I would do that for peace of mind. Danny looks amazing 👏🏻

Hi, you two. I hope you are both okay and you're feeling better fi.
So, you mentioned mas and his crossed legs in the vlog, but It's so very difficult to know for sure what it is with him ...
Have you had the vet out to take a look, as I know crossed legs can be a neurological issue or spinal issues.
But again, with his particular breed, they can be known as using their legs differently to others, as you will probably know, but how much of that is down to his breeding I don't quite know.
You definitely should get a professional opinion.
My friend bought a trotter, and he couldn't canter under saddle, so she found an instructor to come and help her.
They used a lot of pole work, raised poles and other different exercises, which slightly helped, but still to this day, he can not canter under saddle and uses his fast trot as his canter out in the field.
Hope you get to the bottom of it all. Keep us updated as id love to know the outcome xxx

That seems like some good advice. Best to make sure it is not neurological. x
