+Strictly Dumpling I liked Raohe better. Shilin was too crowded. Food was better at Raohe as well.

Such nice videos you make, but there is always space for improvements... You should think of using some kind of gimbal to prevent shaky videos (like this one) which after a while gives me a hard time to watch without getting headaches. Anyway - overall another great video !!!

Great video! Yeah, stinky tofu is everywhere in Taipei, even in the subway underground passages. Shilin Market is impressive, huge. We were also fascinated by the snake restaurants - nobody sitting outside, only the snakes in their cages. Then we felt sorry for the animals, so we went for fish...

Thank you Mike for making this video about Shilin night market. The food all look very delicious! I would say personally I love stinky tofu no matter how it is cooked. Many people think it smells stinky, but to me it makes my mouth watery just by smelling it :P
BTW It also goes perfect with hot oil. So if you're ever gonna try it again, (probably not lol) make sure you try it with hot oil.
I feel so hungry when I think about it lol.

You confirmed my notion about stinky doufu. When I was a student in Taiwan, my teachers all loved stinky doufu, but I could never get past the smell. I would like to return to Shilin just to check out the market. I lived in the Shilin district in the late 70's. There's definitely been some changes.
