We also signed the IPP WR praise. He's going to be interesting to watch. If he doesn't make it this year they can keep him on the practice squad and not take a spot like okoye. Get him a year on the practice squad and see what they can do.

Herberts presser yesterday was everything. He was engaged, hardly any cliches, he was enthusiastic, and confident. Made me sooo stoked. I’ll admit I wasn’t excited about Harbaugh because he usually wears out his welcome rather quickly, but I’m fully on board at this point. The players obviously are. I like all the moves made and happy to have a legit GM now, and also that the Raiders ended up with TT 😂.

This “wear out your welcome” mantra has to stop. There were internal issues in SF by BOTH sides. None of the other places he has coached wanted him to leave.
Very simple. Since 2020, the Chargers are 28th in Defense and 28th in rushing. NO QB thrives in that environment, none of them. Give Herbo a top 15 defense and a top 10 rushing attack, and a deep playoff run is a yearly occurrence.

Totally agree. Trent Baalke, the GM in SF who started when Harbaugh arrived, wanted control and that was the problem there.
