    Awesome job. What a beautiful ship. A lot of Canadians depend on the services of these vessels and CCG service members, to keep them safe, keep supply lines open and saving lives. My thanks to you all for your service

    40 years ago today, Mar 06 1982, bridge deck and upper deck caught on fire 20 miles off Sydney N.S, major damage, vessel towed to Sorel Que. to rebuild, out of service until Aug 1983.
