A nice little place for a single or couple. As someone else commented, a small entry foyer and coat closet would be an asset. I'd have more kitchen cabinets rather than open shelves.

We need more starter homes like this for under $100,000 for people who dont have much money, but want a small place to call home that isn't a trailer. This means young adults, or older adults wanting to downsize. Or anyone who wants something smaller and doesn't want to spend $200,000+ for a condo or a McMansion that everyone is building now.
This would be perfect for somebody single like me. I would however ditch the shelves in the kitchen but instead have some cabinets.
Yes I agree with your comments on the shelves. I also think the bedroom wardrobe should not be glass doored. People like to have some privacy with their belongings in wardrobes. Also it really needs blinds in that bedroom as it is too open to the front of the house for people to peer in. But it is a very cute home and well thought out plan.
I like the porches, and the bedroom seemed a decent size, room to walk around the bed which is super important when changing sheets. I like that it shows a little yard around it, people want a bit of outdoor space. Didn't like the small refrig area, or lack of cabinets in the kitchen. Hardly room for a toaster on the counters.
Absolutely cute n cozy. Could so live comfortably here.

What is the connection between minimalists and loft beds?
how does someone dream of a family, their legacy, and future when you live in a shed or chicken coop sized home? A tiny hole in the ground is minimalist and practically no footprint, but why does a human want to live like a mouse?
@@sinsinnomore5555 in life it all boils down to what truly make a person happy concerning material possessions. It's a personal choice as to how an individual wants to live and what makes that person truly happy from the inside out.
If a person wants to live in a small space and be surrounded mostly by nature, it's their choice, if another person wants a huge mansion and lots of material possessions and could afford it (but not doing bad or illegal acts to get it) then again it's that person's choice.
@@filet-mignon As a society we already have lots tiny homes called "apartments", its sustainable, its efficient and could be considered more "ecological" than carving into nature with a road, paths, and structures just for one person to exist.
If people really like small places then families would _already_ be thriving in apartments and condos. The push towards tiny homes is a push towards single people owning nothing and liking it.

My stepdad made me a playhouse exactly like this one...thanks for the memories of my childhood. But now I live in a 1200+ sf, 2 story house like an adult that wants a family not just to play with dolls.
These are not real homes, nor are they intended for families with children, a large apartment would serve a family much better than this home

Nice looking but never any place to drop or hook your coat and take off your shoes at the entrances.Majority of any livable house will have something at an entrance.
Would be nice with a wrap around deck too., instead of two small ones.

Love this house. Front and back porches. Room for an actual table rather than a eating bar. Place for washer/dryer. Like the large wardrobe but not it’s configuration but that’s an easy fix. No storage but it’s a small house so buy storage couch and bed and alls good. Where did you fin that swing? Perfect size for a little porch.

Как отапливается жилище, ведь не видно никаких обогревательных приборов?
Хорошо бы узнать, изменилось ли мнение авторов о планировке, после получения реального жизненного опыта.

@shariwelch9573 One can increase a foot or 2 wider on the plan and incorporate such as you're asking for. Just getting a concept of the layout and the look, the size can always be increased.
I have a three bedroom house with a single car garage. I don’t have a broom vacuum closet either
Put a little closet next to the refrigerator.. between it and the back door. Then it can hold a few jackets and shoes/boots.
I don’t have one in my current place they sit in the laundry area.

The only thing I would change is push the front door forward to make room for an entryway and small closet so you aren’t stepping right into the living room. There has to be some kind of storage.
I have a shed that is the size of this "home" for storage...you'll need to build one or maybe just ow n nothing and like it

Of course people can live anyway they want or choose. I support freedom and liberty to choose. But I also am fully aware of the concept of in doc tri nation to live a life of minimalism as if any choice to not is also viewed as some sort of _attack_ on the environment and future of everyone around them.
People actually believe water is scarce, glass should be recycled, and land isn't vast and will not find and comfort or relief when the fact none of that is true is revealed. Instead they will argue that not having children and living minimally is the only way to "protect" the planet from further human consumption and erosion.
However, the shorelines have remained the exact same no matter how many golf course are watered, pools are filled, crops are water and people have been born.

Yet when I state several reasons why it is ignored and your next commentary is _still_ on my attitude which is proving to be your only purpose to engage. In debate, that is called ad hominem, which is a type of argument or _attack_ that appeals to prejudice or feelings or irrelevantly impugns another person’s character instead of addressing the facts or claims made by the latter. Making statements such as "chip on your shoulder", using 'snark' at everyone, "going out of your way" and "living in a bubble" have nothing to do with tiny homes or my statement addressing there _is_ a need for large homes due to family is not conducive to tiny home life and minimalism is in doc tri nation to not have families.
You state you don't have any need for total agreement on minimalism then continue to demand I see that _"Finite resources such as food, water, and shelter won't be around forever if used wastefully"_ which is not fact, truth, reality or based on any logic, rather is only a mere appeal to the emotional.

But many young folks are running back home to live with and in the Old Folks home because inflation is now so high to live on their own, high rent, utilities, food, gas, vehicle expenses, health care, children school fees, etc, etc. Lots of Millennials and Gen Z still living at their Old Folks home.

Yes, it's pretty, but no gutters, shingles on a flat roof, glass doors on the bedroom closet, a white rug under the dining table, seating for two in the living area but seating for four in the dining area, nothing on the windows ( no blinds, shades, curtains, etc,). How is anyone supposed to live like this?
