- Can you feel "high" or alter your mind without using ANY substances? Using purely science? That's what I'm testing in this video! We even bring back a classic on this channel, the Ganzfeld Effect!

We start off by trying the Ganzfeld Effect, a scientific phenomenon that allows you to hallucinate safely at home.
In the same vein we also try a cold plunge, runner's high, exhaustion, fear, spicy food, and more! All to try and feel "high" or overall mentally different.
The craziest part? A couple of them actually ended up working! - Zábava

You do know that to hallucinate you need way more sleep deprivation than just waking up early? My friends and I have concluded that you need to have at least not slept for 72 hours or an accumulation of two to three weeks on 4 hours sleep or less to get sleep deprivation psychosis. But that's our personal experience. One of the ways to achieve said hallucinations is by having a delayed or advance sleep phase syndrome, insomnia and or narcolepsy though also it's possible with a bad work life balance though less common.
Also put some articles in the discord to read through and a warning to not attempt it if possible.
I recently didn’t sleep for 36 hours and it was the worst thing of my life tbh
@@idkwhattonamemyself1730 i know right it's awful whenever your on from 30 hours or longer you just feel like death warmed up...
