RUKO F11 Mini: In-Depth Review

- After another long break (sorry about that) I'm back with another drone review! This time I'm reviewing the Ruko F11 Mini, their sub 250 gram drone. This is a great little flyer with a decent flight time.
For those who are considering purchasing one of these, hopefully this video will tell you everything you need to know. For those that already purchased one, I hope this video will be a helpful tool in getting you up in the air as quickly as possible.

Thank you for all of the useful information as I stumbled across it as I was unboxing my very first drone. I'm upset it doesn't have a gimble but as a beginner I will use your info and tips to upgrade later after I'm more comfortable flying. Maybe I'll pass the mini on to the niece and nephew when I do upgrade lol.
Thanks for the feedback @gotskin1! Yeah I agree, a gimbal makes a big difference but this is a great one to learn on, and you're right, passing it along for someone else to learn on is a great way to further the hobby!

I made a deal with myself self never get a drone unless it aleast has a 2 axis gimble been happy ever since.
Holy cow that feed from the drone is unstable. Is it without gimbal ???
How do you turn GPS on and off on the drone. I want it on, but I'm new. I haven't actually flown it yet. I've basically just taken off and hovered, but I still managed to crash it. You just answered my question "Yay! "
I noticed that I get the same message on my app/phone that "Memory card is not detected". I have my card inserted. Is this still going to record pics & video?
Hard to say, but I would do a quick test run if I were you. Try to record a quick video while the message is displayed and check the memory card after to see if it actually recorded anything. If it doesn't and there is something wrong with the card card slot, I would reach out to Ruko's customer support. I've found them to be really helpful.
How is headless mode engaged and disengaged so I don't mistakenly switch modes? What does pushing down on the left joystick do? Thanks.
Having tried it out a couple days, I found it quite simple but unstable. The main reason I got it though, was the possibility of flying it in areas I can't fly my dji drones with geofencing. This is hardly ever mentioned and is the primary I bought it: to see roofs in towns where I can't unlock the geofencing, or at least it is too big a hassle. Why don't reviews mention this? And are there other similar options that are more stable and reliable and cost the same?

I ordered one for a 100 bucks today on Amazon but after watching this video I think im going to cancel it and spend the extra money for one with a gimble. Do you recommend Holy Stone?
Do it I lost connection within the first 5 min of flight. I broke 2 blades today just trying to fly it around. This guy is a shill for China. It also seems to list to one side when hovering even inside.
