Living in Germany I only knew him from watching the occassional episode of one his tv series. I have now watched 4 interviews of him on Johnny Carson and I must say that he seemed to be a very nice and charming person. These interviews also feel so much more relaxed and warmer than many that are being done today.

Was in love with Little Joe from when I first saw him on the screen when I was 6 and nothing has changed in the intervening years and I am now 66. Always came across to me, as a decent guy who loved his children And the fact that he was drop dead gorgeous with the face of an angel had nothing to do with it (plus the best butt in the business) 😍
If you knew anything at all about the man you would realize how wrong you were. His crew and castmates loved him BECAUSE he was one of them. He ate , drank, joked and worked side by side with them. Unlike most other STARS. And he was the writer, director, producer and star of his series! Quite the opposite - he was a very humble man, aware of and grateful for his many gifts and talents. He is 39 years old and his first son is his first wife’s from her first husband and Michael adopted him. So he was not biological father at age 14
