Depending on the situation. I worked as a nurse at a hospital and got stuck by a used needle from a drug addict. Both blood had to be tested. Luckily, she was negative 20 years ago. Patients had to sign for consent for HIV not anymore. Don't get me wrong, we have privacy forms HIPPA to respect the patient, and we don't discuss patients in public places. In this situation, I think that if they are "true " friends, they dial 911, they would be told. Anyway, he would be in a hospital setting. What was in his drink?
