  • Despite some initial setbacks (overheating truck), our annual 4th of July trip with our friends turned out to be a success. Four days in the sun, a few days fly fishing, RVing with good friends...well, it doesn't get much better than that. The wives let Mike and I head out on our own and we caught some great fish! The streamer game was a bit off, so we landed the big ones on dry flies...Chernobyl Ants and Chubbies were the ticket. Day two was a let down...just a few small fish. But overall, the trip was a great success. #cutthroat #flytying #trouttwins #echoflyrods #sageflyrods #flycraft #trouttwinslodge

Great video. Guessing those big cutts are sea-run fish?

@@adamk1873 No…they are resident. They supposedly spend some time in the Columbia where they get nice and fat! Thanks for watching

Those are some big Cutts! Was it insanely hot there like Oregon?

Yes, it was crazy hot! Luckily the water was cold and it felt cooler on the river. Thanks for watching

Was this Yakima River? The Best from Kamloops, BC, Canada

It was not the Yakima. But the Yakima does have big fish like this👍Thanks for watching!! I still want to explore the BC waters…they look pretty epic
