#25 Robins is a big girl, lol. 6'5" and HEFTY. You'd think she'd be able to jump a couple of inches higher if she slimmed down though. Ok, some people get offended by that comment, but the TRUTH is, there are REAL disadvantages to being WIDE and THICK. In addition to hurting your jumping ability, it hurts BOTH her blocking ability AND her teammates. Why? Because when u block, it's already very difficult to put your hands/arms OVER the net (penetrate) and TIGHT to the net while keeping your BODY (chest/belly/hips) from touching the net. And, it's harder for your teammates to 'close the block' when they're blocking next to you because, well, your belly/body is so wide that the person blocking next to u has to reach sideways even more to make a tight block -- not easy. Hey, I actually like this girl, think she's got real potential. But if she's serious about the game, and reaching her potential, slimming-down would be a HUGE plus.
I can't Imagine being as stupid and fat as you making it through life, never knowing how pathetic of a critique fat shaming is. You sure went into detail and gave a lot of thought abuot how much of a disability being fat is, but never thought once, she is apart of a top team in the country, she must be talented. saying someone should lose weight to be better, WHILE being apart of one of the best teams in the country, was drafted, given a scholarship to play, never thought she is good? just fat... think about what that says about you.
