If you play this again, can you play without an auto clicker? I feel that the game was a lot easier because the rate at which you could spawn your attacking units and scaling was way faster than a normal person would have.

Yeah stun build is super busted. Just tried the game and I managed to get 5.5s stun on each attack. I can't just build walls and don't even have to click anything or buy resources with gold, the walls will block everything. I only ended the run because it got kinda boring.

I stacked stun on my leaders so i had 4s stun on every attack basically permastunned and couldn't attack me

The most versatile and smallest is 'mark''s clicker' as far as I recall. Can literally put it on the desktop.
