I used this pattern for my niece for her wedding. I deconstructed her mom’s (my sister)wedding dress from 1989. It turned out really well. I didn’t add any pockets since she only used it for her chapstick and ID and phone.
I think if you make something using materials that bring you joy, the joy shows through in the final product.
