My Garage Doors

I haven't done one of these kind of videos for a long time, especially in my garage, so I decided to do that today.
The current setup I have right now is: Midland Thermo Steel 2 inch thick doors, with a pair of .250 springs on the big door and one of those on the small door, 15 inch radius, 14 gauge hardware, and nylon rollers, with an 8550 on the big door with battery backup, paired with an 880LM, an 895MAX and 3 893LMs, and an 877MAX. Small door is an 8365-267 paired with an 882LM, 3 893s and an 895, and an 877LM keypad.

I may be posting a couple old videos this week, one of my grandma's LW5000EV and the OHD, and maybe one of my aunt's old system with a one-light craftsman, and an old (possibly ideal) 16x7 door with extension springs.

Thanks for the quick reply. Is having double hinges at the end for rollers also because my door is very heavy? It is made of 2 1/2 in. thick solid wood.

For sure. 2 1/2 inches is definitely a lot thicker then usual

It also says “12 GA” on the hinges. Everyone in my neighborhood has solid wood doors because the HOA won’t allow anyone to have a door different than the custom design that came with the house.

The standard nowadays is two springs. You most likely have four springs because your door is bigger or heavier.
