These guys need to hang it up and go chill out at the jelly belly factory or something lol.
I was armed security at hood apartment. I had a good relationship with the homies. They stayed respectful and even backed me up against people who didn't belong there.

Fairfield is not just a little town. It has big city problems since the 1990s. I went to Fairfield High in the 1990s. There were a lot of gangs. Less now but they are still around.
Fairfield is pretty close to Vallejo. People argue if it's the bay or not. It also used to be a lot safer than most of the bay but became a little more active over the past few years. At the end of the day people from the hood can be soft and people from the suburbs can be hard. It's not where you're from its who you are. That being said, back in the day we used to kick it in Fairfield because it was so much safer than nearby cities so it's funny to me to hear them use the word "warzone" for their hood.

It’s easy to play tough in an environment where there’s no real need to be tough and there’s no competition to test your toughness. Also, Fairfield is part of the Bay given that Solano County is one of the 9 counties that make up the Bay.
As an example, I remember my uncle telling me a story about how when he was going to college in DC one of his military buddies from Sac came out to visit. One of Theo maces they went was down on Malcom X Ave. in Southeast and he said his friend was literally scared to exit out the car. He literally had to beg his friend and assure him that nothing would happen to him. Point being is that it’s one thing to be tough but it’s another thing when it’s time to be tough. He got to see ghetto for real and wasn’t ready for it.
