The Boruto anime is not written by the series creator, as it's a sequel forced by the Studio, and was forced on hiatus due to the vast amount of filler and terrible ratings.
Though Kishimoto did write content which he intended to be the series epilogue, which I would recommend.

What you wrote is not true.
Boruto is written by Kishimoto for years at this point (he started writing it around the Baryon mode chapter) and the series is on hiatus because it caught up to the manga at a point where it would have been impossible to put fillers plus the first part of the manga ended and we had a 3 month hiatus. Boruto (both anime and manga) is extremely popular in Japan and has very high ratings and most of the anime filler is actually light novel adaptations. Also the anime version of the movie is way better because it has a lot more detail story wise and the fight coreography is way better too.
@@az639 The anime version of the fight completely goes against the point of the movie, and Kishimoto is still not the writer... because he is still not credited as the writer.

Kishimoto has been literary writing the manga since chapter 52 (Kodachi's name wasn't included in the credits from this chapter onwards) he is just not the one drawing it (Ikemoto stayed the illustrator), and no the anime version doesn't go against the point of the movie. The story is the same it just has more detail and the Karma and the Jogan are included because both are core plot points of the story. Also the anime version is the manga version which means it's the canon version
@@az639 The movie came first, and it's still canon by the magazine timeline. Not to mention the anime version is extremely different from the manga, as the manga followed the movie besides the ending.
The whole point of the movie fight was Momoshiki got easily defeated by Naruto and Sasuke because his increased size screwed him over. Like the movie said, unearned power is nothing. The anime didn't do that.
If Kishimoto was writer, he'd be credited as such, which he isn't.

Oh no did Kai cut out the scene with ALL the baby-tailed beasts surrounding Sage of Six Paths?! That scene is absolutely iconic, I'd be really sad if she didnt get to see that. It's a great little snippet of backstory. Overall great to see Naruto learn Kurama's name, thanks again for the fun watch.

Yeah orochumaru already had cultivated hashirama’s cells so I think he just went to one of his labs and implanted them into himself

The thing with Boruto is that even canon feels like fillers, it is so much just about the kids arguing about which hamburger is the best or who has the latest collectible card or someone worrying about their weight.. even the saddest moments are quite meh

Try reading the manga. It has a completely different vibe then the anime. Also if you only watch the manga canon arcs then the anime has the same vibe too.

The beginning of Boruto is pretty much filler just as you said, it takes forever for the anime to line-up properly with the manga.
So you'd indeed have alot of filler episodes to power through. But the later episodes are really something.

Note how Naruto and Kurama's transformation is unique compared to the other Jinchuriki when their chakra mixes.
Like the Masked Man said long ago about the generational battle between brothers, Naruto is the only Jinchuriki related to the Sage of Six Paths, the creator of the Tailed Beasts... so Naruto and Kurama are family in a way, thus something different would happen.
Its literally the same kind if transformation as Matatabi and Yugito's is.

The first jogan episodes leading to eps 65 are relevant,and then from there you can skip the fillers jump face first into the kara arc.That's how you watch boruto😂😂😉
