For everyone saying âPC players needed to get a Smurf and butthurtâŠâ It was actually a new idea for a video but we couldnât sadly get a non-gm console ximmer at the time since it was too last minute but it was for a team of silvers (both pc and console) and each team has a GM from their respected platform to see if they can carry. Sadly didnât fall through. Other words⊠unlucky. Now relax and just smile
It amazes me how mad people can get at these videos and the people in them as if it isn't just a game for fun.

As a PC and console player I can say there is a big stigma against console players in games like this. I don't think it was ego I think it was more excitement over winning against the odds in a match were many would have counted them out.

Funny that a lot of people in the chat are saying aim assist is the advantage here when the console players were using non-aim heroes like rein, reaper, brigitte etc.
they got countered basically, Mei brig and rein are just too strong againt the tracer Dva and even ana comp they had. the pc player could not win against a similarly ranked team with this comp
@@mrblooper1994 yea, I was watching the game, the console team has a far better comp than the pc comp, and they knew how to counter swap to counter their enemy that are giving them trouble. Furthermore, their comp are better as well. Aim-assit or not, the console team was in general, better than the pc team in this instant.
I was a console player back in 2016 and reaper was my first main I can say the aim assiston him makes a big difference compared to when playing him on pc. Tracer was another hero I played a bunch with on console but moving to pc I struggle to get any value with her which I could relate with so much with the pc tracer in this video lol
I find it funny seeing the chat completely flame the console players, and then proceed to bring in a grandmaster, only to get a 100% to 99% win. If you do this again, I wouldnât mind you getting rid of the cocky bastion, though.

Coming from the perspective of a console player, pc hitscan literally ruins the fun of the game. Controller can never click heads the way a mouse can, just not possible. I love overwatch, but it is so frustrating to go up against pc players. I honestly donât like cross play because of this. They should run it like Apex Legends does: unless you queue up with someone on a different platform, your game will be a lobby with only your platform.

They talk about aim assist, but I feel like itâs more of a burden then helpful. There are times where I am trying to aim for a specific person, like maybe a support, but then there is a DPS like a foot or two in front of them, this resulting in the aim assist forcing you to look at that person in the front rather then the back, messing up your aim. Itâs happened a lotâŠ

My opinion is: we cant judge pc or console unless we tried both enough to know the ups and downs. As someone who play both i would say, pc is wayyyy funnier to play and the potential of mobility is better. On the other side, aim assist is something good under plat/gold, all above this is real aim/game sense, ive seen some master/gm play without aim assist ans they are way better then me(diamond/plat)

Xims are still legal so people with disabilities can still play on console. Problem is top ranks are filled with people whose hands work perfectly fine, they just can't compete without an unfair advantage.

@@suspicioustoilet that's the reasoning that gaming companies always give for why they are allowed in competitive games. It's easier for a lot of people with certain disabilities to use a mouse than a controller (ex. Missing multiple fingers, etc)
There is technology that can detect XIM, but they don't so as to not exclude anyone. Same problem in high level Apex as well.

I think the understanding of the game is higher for many console players in a lower ranking than on the pc.
However, this is compensated for using by the mouse and keyboard. However, understanding of the game is probably more important in these rankings than aim.

The player ADYS had really nice callouts for support. Honestly, I could see them reaching higher ranks. Focusing on speed as lucio and antis as ana. Not to mention their nano callouts and speed callouts.

As someone from pc, there's a lot of people i've met that absolutely dominate games when they're on console. I have some friends on console and they do amazing! I'm glad console was able to nab a dub. i didn't mind the kid with the ego. As long as they're having fun then it doesn't matter.

As someone that has played MnK and Controller since 1996, I'll let you guys in on a little secret... it's not the tool that makes the player but the mind that controls the tool. That and simply some games are designed more for controller (COD/Halo), and some more for MnK (CS/PUBG). There are some players that really excel at both, and some that will prefer one over the other. But to say one gamer is more talented than the other because they use a different tool to game, in my opinion, is very foolish. At the end of the day, use what makes you happy.

First two games make me think the kb/m advantage doesn't really kick in until gold? Also, the pc issues seemed to be the comp a lot of the time. Either too low damage or too low healing into console on reaper, bastion, Mei, and usually two high healing output heroes.
For the second two games, why genji? Especially into a constant Mei and other heroes who can counter genji. I would have liked to see him go Widow maybe? Still, ggs on carrying the pc players. Skippy definitely doesn't belong in silver. This is a team game after all. I imagine a lot of what he brought to the table was comms that we didn't necessarily hear.
Also, it could be cool if this situation arises again to have Jay sub in as the gm so we could get his perspective on what it's like as a gm playing in a silver lobby.
Maybe to make it more fair. I think his genji mechanics and style seem like plat/diamond at best though.

â@Alexa yeah I've been on almost every console since I was little. Almost 30 now. The ceiling for mechanics is almost limitless. Especially with a good mouse you can change ur sensitivity to the situation in front of you with just one click of the mouse

I've reached high ranks on both platforms and I can tell you, PC is only better mechanically speaking (Which is expected since they're playing on Mouse + Keyboard), but people fail to understand that being mechanically better than someone playing on a controller is not supposed to be something you're proud of.

I saw the title for this vid and my first thought was, "At silver level? Yeah, console can make that work np" Cause here's the thing: the lower the elo, the less the hardware makes a difference. PC is Master Race, I know, but silver vs silver that PC won't have much effect.
My personal experience: as a console player who was gold ranked at the time (all roles), I had a friend who picked up the game up on PC when OW2 released. Got invited to play in QP some with him and his other friends, but they warned me that they were worried for me because I was on console and that might make it a bit hard.
I proceeded to carry that first game and continued to be one of the stronger players in each game after that, lol. I've now reached diamond on one of my roles, though, and I recognize I would be hard pressed to repeat such a performance at this level. Such is life.
Depending if using mouse and keyboard through a controller emulator to get aim assist active. You don't have to use a modded one to do so since been out since ps3

This is why nobody, not even Blizz, cares about console.đ It's even funnier the lil kid gets this cocky when the entire lobby has shit aim but one side has some, uh, AI help. They also proceed to play braindead stuff like Rein and Reaper to compensate for their silver skills. đ

Well done by the console silver players, especially the tank. Seems like at lower ranks aim assist helps a lot more. I'm shocked that Silver Pc has that bad aim to be honest. The GM addition was a bit silly, kinda fun, but doesn't really prove anything. Of course a GM is going to be able to outplay Silvers of any kind. Overall Console can be pretty competitive with pc, they have their disadvantges because of controllers, but also the aim assist as a large buff.

Suprisingly the aim assist actually doesn''t do a lot, especially considering they were playing a lot of brawl, close range characters haha! One of my mates I play with has incredible accuracy and his aim assist is off! There are a decent amount of players wh have good aim just due to practice, especially considering some FPS on console have been removing aim assist on snipers and stuff. I'd say it's not the aim that is the disadvante for console players it's higg natural sensisitivity! Although therse players have their sensitivity weirldly low! Everyone I know play on max! Conlcusion: Suprisingly there are just good players in console!
@@cai2254 I know there are a lot of console players who have good aim and play well, but they're not in silver. My point was how bad players get more out of it, while when you get to high ranks, skill and game sense become far more important. The pc players looked like they needed aim assist with how wild they were shooting. People learn bad habits because they can play stupidly and then not get melted due to almost no shots from the enemies connecting.
@@JonaD757 idk man, i play Hanzo on console most of the time and I've seen enemies going Hanzo too who are stupidly cracked, and aren't ximmers, they are just godlike. We have to turn off aim assist on any projectile hero bc it just ruina your aim
Aim assist is not cheating, but it definitely gives an advantage when both sides donât have the best aim or mechanics

As someone who played on both PC and console I've noticed that for ranked PC is and entire rank higher in skill level, as gold 5 on PC feels like play 5 on console, and overall everyone's better and more team driven

I'm one of the players on the PC team and I wanna talk about my experience with this event
This one was held just after bronze PC vs silver console, and I managed to get in quickly but I didn't have any time to warm up. Our team tried vs the console team (who had already rolled the last team) but they were better than us, and we all took that pretty well! What's worth noting is that coachkobys chat was not enjoying what the console players were saying, and eventually koby decided to replace one of our DPSs with Skippy, who was a great guy and motivated the team in a way I couldn't. Shout out to Skippy. Then after that one they looked for an appropriate match for the console team but that got canceled due to reasons detailed in the pinned comment. Hope this clears some stuff up.
I love how thin skinned PC players are that a little trash talk, and lets face it you got rolled, is now a big deal.

The thing I see about console vs pc is that when we strafe on pc the other person has to predict and make micro movements with the mouse making stafing good on pc but with the console aim assit it tracks our pc stafing quite well, I wonder how console players strafe
if you think aim assist auto travks in Overwatch you are insane. aim assist in oV isnt that strong nor is it often even as helpful as pc players think it is.

Aim assist is nice but there is times where it screws you over, especially in overwatch. Every now and then when I use widow/ash/any aim down sight character my crosshair sometimes locks onto a different enemy than the one Iâm shooting

still tho...if your input method is so crap you need aim assist, are you even playing? its like 30% of the game is gone for you
Also the number of keys you can press with one hand is,, 2 at the same time, sometimes 3 if you claw grip. keyboard AND mouse can do 4=5 at once, so movement becomes more fluid.
couches are great, that the main advantage of console. Cost is decent when its release but goes down over time.
But rest of the time it locks on to the correct enemy so...
