Huge props for including Danganronpa Zero, its criminal how something so important for the lore and for the unarguably most important character of the saga is commonly ignored by many.
I personally would recommend Danganronpa Zero and Danganronpa: IF(in this order) after Goodbye Despair and before UDG because of how that character is displayed in the final trial of the second game, you would get a nice sequence for her and the sibling. Maybe also replaying/watching the final trials of both of the first games too, since you would view things differently with that context. After that then go to UDG and continue normally.

Ultra Despair Girls is such a weird game, I salute you for trying to explain the gameplay and atmosphere to the uninitiated.
Also full agree, the first one has the best "trapped with a murderer" atmosphere and the second one has the best set of characters! Can't wait to play the third one and see where it falls between these two!!
Can't wait for you to play the third one too, I really want to see your take on it! Also yeah UDG and DR0 were really hard to explain without spoilers... actually everything thats not a main series game was hard lmao, I just skimmed some for that reason.
