I'm going to spain again in a few weeks except this time I'm be vlogging so did some research on the laws, and unfortunately, you need permission to record or even photograph any at all in spain, the Police have full right to confiscate you camera and fine you upto 6000 euro for filming them.
It's fucked but it is their law.
And yeah that cop was a bit fucking arrogant.

IkerManri its more just not enforced unless it's police, if you filmed someone (focusing on them) without their permission, they can legally take you to court, people generally don't though, the police one is more complicated, technically you can, but if the police officer seems it to interfere with his or her work then they can lay their wrath upon you. unfortunately that gives the police a huge advantage and they can just screw you for filming on their descretion :(. It's fine to film in public provided the general public are just there and nothing to do with the filming itself so just background, otherwise need permission :(.

me and my friend were trying some new tricks in a public area and were using chalk to mark some stuff and the police got sooooooooo mad saying we were damaging property and my friend was so close to freaking out. it was a n amazing spot with a 4 m drop and lots of rails and benches ect. you guys deal so well with these police and keeping your cool

la ley mordaza ya no esta vigente, es decir, the Law gag (that's how it is called in spain) it's a law that prohibits filming the police. But it is not in force right now anymore. So you don't have to worry about that anymore (at least in Spain)
