- This litter born early January 2024 and earlier we posted their birth to 4 weeks old collection of moments growing up. This is a little follow up video, 4 to 8 weeks old.
This was a phenomenal litter, very consistent in looks and temperaments and we ended up keeping several to ourselves so move videos of them growing up and training are coming.

My son has a cane Corso mix, female. She is so loving . He treats her like a human. He sleeps with her. She lived with me. Every person she gets to know is a friend to her. Very lovable.

My Corso is so intelligent. He is so full of personality. I love it when he jumps up to give me hugs. He is my service dog. He can always tell when I need a hug. He can sense it every time. He is spoiled to say the least. Belly rubs daily lol.😊
I live in Canada, where it’s not illegal. And I have owned both an Old English Sheepdog and a Standard Poodle who were NOT cropped. I realized very quickly that I loved the floppy ears and the dust mop tail. ❤️❤️

😂😂😂 funny! Thank you for watching! She is actually not their mom, this is our 10 year old female from very first breeding we did and she raised and schooled many many dogs in her life and that why all that was done for schooling purposes 😂 we call her “ fun police”. Her name is Sniper

The ears are still there ? I’m confused on why ppl say their EARS are gone ! They clearly have ears ! It prevents infection and nasty build up and they look just as great with them cropped and they stay clean ! If you don’t like it don’t buy one with cropped ears SIMPLE

A friend of mine has got a Cane Corso/Pressa Cross and I asked him the other day if he would get its ears clipped and he said definitely Not.

Cropping ears and docking tails is illegal in the UK. No justifiable reason to do either really. I have a cane corso with ears and tail intact.

The breeder is located in Maryland. They have clients flying in from all over the world.
I spoke to them once last year. They treat everyone equally, regardless of whether you're a Hollywood superstar, an NBA player, or just a new dog owner.
I got to know a female Cane Corso mix. My son has her. She is so loving. If you are a friend or family member these dogs love you.

Thank you! Light blue was slightly lighter female in the bunch earlier on, but in general this litter was very close in weights and size and still is now ( they are 17 weeks old now)

all dogs become gremlins just like kids to teenagers, regardless of size of dog and I had great danes, saints, rottys, dobies, huskie,dobies, min pins, poms and chix (most rescued). and they all got into trouble.
but they all had professional training.
Never had a break in.
Many people are looking for a cheaper price and don't consider what it takes to be a quality breeder with stable and healthy dogs. These breeders are not making as much money as people think, even if you buy a dog for 10K. Let's say, the dog lives with you for 10 years as a companion, working dog or guard dog. He brings you joy, stability, and confidence, which is worth more than $20 a month. Paying $2000 per dog will save you many problems and anxiety over the next 10 years. that’s my two cents as someone that bought a Corso form a very well known but very cheap and also learn my lesson it is to a day and night different.
You right about that - it really does not make money unless one breeds 5 plus litters a year, which we not willing to do not to sacrifice all work we put into raising a litter and working all our adults. Breeding is expensive hobby…specially nowadays with prices for services and care skyrocketed
In this economy someone who would love a pure breed is priced out because the cost to purchase is ridiculous
Exactly. The costs involved in an ethical breeder to have a litter is unreal. And heaven forbid the dam needs an emergency C-section. A well bred pup from a code of ethics breeder is the most amazing pup. I’ve been lucky to own a few. Worth every penny.

Cane Corso and Doberman have totally different cuts. Our ears pinned together for 2-3 days after the crop only and than they stand alone. Cane Corso crop is short with much more base left than a Doberman. Doberman usually months of taping and training the ears to stand and there is tons of videos on CZcams how to:)

Why some of them got the ears tie up??
All of them for 3 days after crop. They stand alone after that without any taping.

How old were the pups when you got the ears done and what style is that? Thanks.
Our veterinarian does the ears usually between 6 and 8 weeks old, this litter was done at 7 weeks old. There is really no different styles for cane corso - it should be bilateral triangle always.

My uncle-in-law just gifted us one from his litter. I had no idea the ears weren't pointy from birth LOL. Mine is 9 weeks and 3 days. How late is too late to snip the ears and tail?
Ears not too late yet - you good till 12 weeks old aprox. Later is depends on how good the vet is and the structure and quality of the ear itself - that determines will it stand correctly. Tails gets done at 2-3 days old, after that it is amputation. Can be done but you better find a veterinarian that specializes in crops specifically- not an easy task- it is a dying art.

@@ivyleaguekennelcanecorso I fostered 9 CC puppies from birth to ten weeks, it was so hard not to keep one. When the time is right we will be inseparable. For now, one of the pups, now 110 pounds visits me for walks and sleepovers. I’ve seen his development for two years, what an amazing breed! They have my heart.

You know their tails are cropped because they tend to break them and can cause some serious heath issues in this breed. Ears I can agree with you, but it also helps keep ear infections down.

As a European cane corso owner, i wonder what the purpose is to cutting the ears and tails of these awesome animals? other then making them look more mean.
Ever had experience trying to heal hematomas? Ear injuries from playing rough with each other? Or you rather keep all dogs separated? Thats not only reason though, main reason is to keep traditional look going. Simple as that
@@ivyleaguekennelcanecorsoty for your answer, traditional they have uncut ears and tails. So that is kinda misinformation, personally i never encountered ear injury's from playing or anything like that. Besides our different opinions about cropping, i love your video's
Their ear flaps are heavy and block air flow which can lead to ear infections. Their long tails are strong. The dogs are tall. A long, strong, wagging tail can be dangerous to children at tail height. Thus, they are cropped. It should NEVER be done to make them look mean.
@@annboyle54blocking the air flow? that is absolute bs iam afraid . Look at the bull mastiff, we dont cut there ears and tails. Cropping tails and ears is all about the looks. It doesnt serve any other purpose.
They changed the breed standards in Italy only recently to go back to uncut ears.

First thing I do with a pet is get them fixed. And I never touch the tail or ears. It's a terrible look on any dog. Nothing cuter than big floppy ears and a wagging tail that will give whip marks

The tail dockings look good. I hate a over docked tail or bad ear clip. The rule is 4 vertebrae. They all stinkers ! 🖤
When you see a short docked tail usually there is a reason to it - a kinked tail that gets docked short to hide the issue. Buyer will never know.. i rather have longer than too short. Yes rule is 4 verta
