a straight up, the point how to fix ( rest moon roof ) on X5
My 2012 X5 stayed stuck in vent open only , and no matter what I tried, and asking my computer wizz son as well to see how on earth to fix this? God forbid it’ll cost a ‘motza’ to fix.
As a last resort, I CZcams and first cab off the tank on how to fix it , was your CZcams.
I thought “ yea nah” it won’t work in an Aussie X5 …. and “ presto “ worked first time,
I started engine, and followed your instructions, a huge big thanks

Since I was driving with the sunroof open in sub-zero temperatures, it apparently froze and, when closing, failed to close the curtain all the way. I waited for the temperature to rise above 5+ °C and did the reset as in the video successfully. Thank you!

Easier than I expected (it's a bmw) the back edge of my sun roof sat about a quarter inch low and at hiway speeds it caused a wind noise. I did exactly as you prescribed on my 2012 135i and it worked perfectly! 😀 thank you very much. 👍🏻

After trying all the steps, unfortunately, they didn't work for my G80 330i. I visited the nearest BMW dealership, and even they couldn't resolve the issue. Eventually, they diagnosed a motor problem and replaced it at a cost of R12000 (approximately USD 630). Fortunately, I am still covered by the motorplan, so I didn't have to bear the expense
