Great vid, picked up a 200 count of Aquarium Coop test strips from you guys a few weeks ago.
Love the simplicity for a quick check of the tank.

These are great, but I can't ever seem to match the colors right. When is Hanna releasing their digital tests for freshwater?

So several of them work great in fw too. The alk nitrate and po4 so far I’ve tested

Thanks for sharing this for us beginners. I live in an area with hard water. Any tips there?

You are welcome. When you say hard water, are you talking about GH or KH? You should watch my video on GH and KH explained. See if that helps and if you still have answers come back and I’ll try to help you!

Thank you for your insight and understanding of the world of aquatics !!! I have been around for a few years , and thankfully I have been doing well with the advice I got once I started to see this is the hobby for life .... A big eye opener was walking into my first LFS 💙💚 I appreciate the content on freshwater and everything presented by you has the great combination of useful information and then what's the take away!!!!
and you usually have @ least one or more facts about something I had never heard or read before 😊 I was just wondering if you have any experience with SEACHEM Ammonia Alert ? Thanks again and I have a feeling that you are just about ready to feature the FLUVAL CO2 Pro with the solenoid ❓

Hi thank you so much for the feedback. This is a great hobby. We got into it almost 20 years ago and our son got his first betta as a little kid and he is also into the business now as a man.
The Seachem ammonia alert is a color change indicator. It can be useful in a hospital tank situation. Down here with the use of chloramine treated water it can give false results (just like with any ammonia test). If your tanks have a healthy bio system, proper sized filtration and flow it shouldn’t be needed IMHO.
As far as the Fluval solenoid bio co2 I will probably not do a test. I cannot get behind that model because of the price. At that price point you are better off buying a tank and proper co2 regulator. In addition the monthly consumables will be greater than doing the refill. Here at our channel I am not sponsored and if I don’t like a product I will not feature it. I think there is value in the other bio co2 products though.
