the rancid cadaver cd is their 1st ep with the original vocalist and mass of gore is the new ep with the bass player ross doing vocals showing of there new sound going forward. great band and they smash it live

Necrotic Nick- It does have a bit of that Decapitated vibe to it. I still need to jam the band but I've heard good things so far.

Were the CDs any good?
Check out the new Stress Angel 'Punished by Nemesis.' it's awesome retro OSDM with a blackened thrash edge. Really sounds like that phase when thrash was becoming death metal in the late 80s. Weird name, killer band.
Necrotic Nick- I haven't had a chance to jam them yet but as always they'll be in a collection update at some point. I've heard some other people bring up Stress Angel here lately so I might have to check them out. Sounds like something I'd like already.
CDF is back!!! I’ll be looking at tickets for that festival. It’s in Oakland again instead of LA. October 12 and 13th 2024. Dismember, Sodom, Monstrosity, Sacrifice, Hirax so far are going to be there. 🤘

I see the Quorthon tribute patch in the thumbnail. On June 3rd this year will mark 20 years since he died.

I actually received this box lol. Finally got my first box. The band on the shirt are pretty cool. I listened to them before wearing the shirt working in a charity shop one Saturday lol

I told you the Feb box was massive. Though mines a bit different. I get the all format. The CD was Deathwitch (Metalhead box reissue of their '98 full length) but the cassette was Bloody Vengeance(Germany) - Ruído de Guerra really good death thrash with kind of a war metal vibe. The vinyl was Lucifer's Hammer - The Burning Church!
Necrotic Nick- Yeah, this one had some killer stuff in it. Loved the pin and I've heard from some people in the comments that Rancid Cadaver is pretty killer so I'm stoked to get into that one.
That looks like a yummy haul. By the way, last week saw Cynic, Obscura and Cryptosis. Think I was slightly weighed down by the weight of expectation and a cold, but Cynic were good. Obscura weren't really doing it for me though.
Dude, I'm seeing them on the same tour 2 days from now!

Necrotic Nick- That's a pretty stacked bill. The last time I saw Cynic they were incredible and I even got to shoot the shit with Paul for a bit. Super nice dude. I still have yet to see Obscura live so I can't say much there outside of I love most of their albums. We just saw Prong and Voivod the other night and it was incredible. Both of them had amazing sets.

@@spencergrady5501You were right, Obscura shirts were awesome (got the Forsaken shirt), Cynic ones kinda meh (tho I got the last XL Refocus shirt available).

My shirt went straight to the trashcan. I'd never wear that in public and have a 4 year old at home, so it was kinda useless. Really wish they'd think about those things before sending them. Kinda like the one months ago with all the topless women on it....
I cant wait for the memes and jokes that will come out of the review for the new Six Feet Under album.
