well, they didnt appeal, cause even if we assume that it didnt offered any performance gain, it still was un-homologated. As about the turbo, rules state that it shouldnt be bigger at any time. expansion is part of possible states happening in operational condition, so it was an engineering mistake at best. Still due to rules, its illegal. PS. i am talking as an automotive engineer that i am, and not as a fan. I am not with any side. I am a group B fan when it comes to wrc
