So because she didn’t die , she killed He Who Remains causing the loom to expand infinitely until Loki made a new one . But when Loki controlled his timeslip, then we knew Kang was just playing around with them, 100% he gave that timeslip power to Loki, but maybe he's right about looking for someone to replace him. Kang said the only thing he fear is himself (his variants), and we haven't even met them yet (the evils ofc), we only saw the branches getting destroyed for no reason and Loki was there to saved everyone. So where is the real threat? I think HWR made sure Loki would maintained the branches for the war, when a man has conquered everything, what do you think he would feel after that? TWOR knows this. There would only be 1 outcome of his true death, and that is if Loki took his place, like we saw in the last episode.
