    Sir, if you still have your watch with you, do this. Just saw your post maybe late.... But anyway for all. Remove gently the 4 rubber pads on the screw. You have to OPEN the watch screws with Tri-wing screw driver. Remove back cover & carefully the LCD Cable & the selector ring cable. CAUTION:::: Battery is still attached to the logic board., so be very careful to remove these cables in one jerk & with a plastic tool. Then you will see a BLACK philips screw, remove that too, & with the plastic tool lift up the motherboard from the other side as you will notice the micro button cable attached to this end. What you are doing is a Physical Hardware reset on the whole logic board with no battery power. Lift up the logic board gently & you will see on the other side the battery terminals. Once you see them not connected to the board then leave it aside for at least 10 mins & then re-assemble. Be very careful not to press any buttons at this time as the watch is totally off or if pressed the watch will turn on & accidentally short some components while pressing in the LCD Cable. Press in the LCD Cable & the ring selector cable. Now it time to press both button & DO NOT leave till you see the Samsung Logo & you are all set to re-assemble the back. (DO THIS ON YOUR OWN RISK)

    • @matferna14
      @matferna14 Před 2 lety

      @@lillyminutolo5716 Follow the steps above & surely you will be able to repair it... BUT BE VERY CARE ABOUT THE BATTERY as your screw driver can touch any parts of the board & when removing the LCD Harness cable, be very QUICK, battery voltage are present on the connector. Try to remove in one snap with a plastic tool or it will short the LCD Backlight. Do it at your own risk & take your time & BE PATIENT !!!!

    • @SeanDIY
      @SeanDIY  Před 2 lety

      If you aren't comfortable with opening it up (I wouldn't be) then you probably have to hold the two buttons for over 10 seconds and if that doesn't work, bring it to a cell phone repair shop.

      @@lillyminutolo5716 My Dear, if you have a new battery, why are you leaving it for 10 mins without the battery??? But anyway put it the new battery after 10 min & you will get the result. Same thing happened to my watch. I went to CZcams and found a guy who found the solution. The problem is, you cannot let your watch go down below 5% battery. I let mine die completely and then couldn't get scene back on even though my phone said that my watch was charging. I left watch on cradle for about 5 hours even though watch screen was still black, then I plugged charger cable into my computer instead of outlet. Then I pressed down on both buttons for approximately 30 seconds. Watch rebooted and stayed on after rebooting twice and updating my gear software. Everything that the CZcamsr specified, worked. Hope that this can help someone!

    Hi I've had my Samsung Gear Sport for nearly two years so its out of warranty, last night my watch went blank, I can't reboot or anything, i've tried holding down the buttons etc nothing works, tried the charger fix, nothing works, my watch is completely dead, I go onto my phone nothing shows up as its not connected. So anyone else having this problem, looks like its a new watch for me.

    • @SeanDIY
      @SeanDIY  Před 4 lety

      Yeah, sounds like it's dead. I'd maybe let it sit on the charger for several hours and see what happens. Any light on the charger or vibration of any sort when you put it on the charger? I'm guessing you tried pressing and holding down the two buttons for up to 15 seconds?

    • @lindawood1564
      @lindawood1564 Před 4 lety

      @@SeanDIY Hi Yeah I've tried all you have suggested, its completely dead, it doesn't vibrate or anything when on the charger either. I don't think I'm going to even bother sending it off to fix, as I had problems before with the back of the watch and that was a nightmare. Thanks.

    • @SeanDIY
      @SeanDIY  Před 4 lety +1

      I highly recommend the Gear S3 Frontier and the Galaxy Watch. Had the former and have the latter. Other than the water resistance and the REM sleep tracking on the Watch they are pretty similar.

      That is good. I think of more people send back watches and phones with issues that helps R&D. I do videos like this so that people can see if an issue is widespread (based on comments and such) and go to the manufacturer with the video as evidence it's not a one off issue.
