I get what Maio is saying totally though. Art is relative, like you said, you're correct, but your Art is not for your consumption alone, especially when you're commercializing it. You can have your audience but not expecting diversity is you limiting your music and until you learn to accommodate the needs of your diverse audience, your brand won't grow right.
To some, a 6minute song is crazy long. To others, it's nth. Some might be interested in your music but the duration would be a turn off. You can't afford to lose potential community members all because "long music is my opinion and that's how I like my music". I'm not saying compromise so much that you lose yourself but you need to understand that even building an audience requires a lot of factors being adjusted.
