@@Vandiril theres sooo many bugs :D even in last patch theres still some illaoi and jinx bugs, i got 153 million damage in one of my last games matchmaking island :D, if access cards are stacked on top of each other they count as one etc etc :D

Custom game in Dota 2 Last Survival has a lot more features, riot took features from this custom game, in Last Survivors u will see cards,skills, evolution of the skill if u have the one passive and other things
It's so chill gamemode. I can finally speak with my Budapeszt casually just like i play nothin just sitting and talking. While playing rift or arams i cant Focus on 2x diffrent things. I love it.

SO BASICALLY, it's not Riot developers comes together and decided to make a new mod for beloved players - it just one guy make it at free time and NOW riot getting all the credits.
And they're don't want to implement it in the first place the guy just convinced the management ! It says alot about this company.

They did very well with this mode and i hope they can add some more chap in (probably max 15 since the client spaghetti code)
the client doest relly come in to play when we are talking about game modes, thought we canchope to get more, since by riot they now do have a team for game modes like these.

Damn, i remember Sirhaian back in the day when he was "only" doing custom VFX on his own designed skins and i remember him replying to a question about him getting into Riot team with him probably never going to be able to be in Riot lol, i'm proud of him that he got this far
I can't believe i'm saying this, but if we take a look at Fortnite or Overwatch, those games have AMAZING custom gamemodes and features. If riot enabled players to create their own gamemodes (which they wont), then the game will be ever more casual friendly. The problem with league, is that while the competitive and ranked scene is striving, your casual player who wants to play a normal game is reduced to playing aram, because thats the only "chill" gamemode, which isn't overly competitive. Swarm and Arena is kinda fixing that, if they could add more gamemodes like those, i believe league could get more casuals
Yeah that is a real dream of a League player - but we can only dream about it.
Such a shame though - we're missing out on so much content.
We dont need more gamemodes we just need they make those gamemodes permanent. 2 or 3 permanents gamemodes outside rift is enough
They would do the same as blizzard with warcraft 3 custom maps . After failing to notice dota and pick up autobattlers (early) they now said that 100% of what u make is theirs XDD
@@skyflakes145 but just imagine Rift Cart where blitzcrank is racing sion in a drag race from baron to dragon, or dodgeball where you'd have 10 ezreals taking turns to hit each other with Q with a counter. We have a complete racing gamemode in Fortnite, why can't we have it in League for example? If riot gave us tools like blizzard did in Warcraft 3, there would be amazing custom gamemodes
@@Shuoo bcs those kind of gamemodes are funny for a certain period of time, after some time you play it starts to get boring and you will only play it when you are bored, if they want to make the player addicted to their games they have to implement competitive, gambling system or a really addictive gamemode like minecraft
take in account that it will take a space in leagues launcher, community will be happy for some time but after they get bored they will complain riot about not making a new gamemode

@@leel2792 i dont think it's happens too often. 1 time i saw it on 1st lvl right on the spawn. and 2nd was in frozen lab somewhere in the middle lower part

Sounds like for Riot to give players what they have been asking for for years the developers have to make the mode in their freetime themselves and then beg and plead with Daddy Riot to add something that isn't just a cash grab. That's crazy, but not surprising.

@@zbyszekkiebasa906 It's not always a money matter. Take a look at Nexus Blitz, they can if they wanted but as we all know it's just as bugged as League, if not more. I'm inclined to believe that it's more of time/effort matter than anything, and with how easily things can break with Rito's spaghetti code then it doesn't matter how many modes they can think of if they can't make it run in the first place and all without having major issues.
@@abunja You just described why riot high suits don't care about anything but quick buck, refactoring entire code would be a long term investment, but high suits want to only see that yearly earnings rise, so god forbid dip in earnings for betterment of the game
As fun a new game mode can be, I think it's much better for Rito to develop a newer and more stable engine for League. I could've imagine how painstakingly long they made this to make sure it runs without much issue. As we can see it works as intended but bugs still appear every now and then.

It's crazy how one guy with an actual passion for videogames singlehandedly saved League of Legends. Almost as if you will make an amazing game if want to actually make a game and not just squeeze your players for money.
Even though it's true that Necrit pointed out that we needed more game modes in League, but what he especially pointed out is that we lacked a CASUAL game in League. Every existing game/mode is competitive, even Aram. So this was really something that was missing for the huge audience that just want to chill with less stress (although this game presents another kind of stress, but at least not the same).
I'm happy and sad at the same time, That it takes years and a person to make a game mode out of their free time (I know he likes it, Kudos to him doing it for the community) instead of gathering people to establish a team for PVE Game modes.
They also need to make a new engine at this point, I'm amazed at this guy making a game mode inspired from another game genre and implemented some elements in league.
The Zed Shadow weeping angel's mechanic was Amazing im kinda sad it didnt make it as the belveth event, if they like disappeared when ur not looking at them that'd be terrifying

Sirhaian is a beast when it comes to putting in over 100%. Even before this gamemode he often posted changes to VFX that he made on his own time.
sirhaian will always be the "into the darkness" dev for me so remembering he's at riot is always a flashbang even though i've known for years
I honestly really hope they keep Swarm around, or atleast make it a seperate install if they need the space on the league client for whatever reason, and slowly add champions / new levels and such to the game over time.
Theres no games like this that you can play with friends either, atleast of the good ones out there, theyre all solo only.
The star guardian one is still such a Goat to play, wish they would bring it back, even once , considering all the skins they released for that line now
the zed shadows being stopped with light its similar to Lost Ark's Akkan gate 3 fight. this makes me think it would be cool to have a raid boss in league

Crazy how a billion dollar company cant make a game mode but when a solo developer works on it on his free time suddenly they are right on making it
They tried but they can't keep it running for too long. League code is buggy that you can't expect the devs of these game modes to keep fixing something that easily breaks. At this point they should've develop a newer and more stable engine for their main League game and other game modes.
definitely the best mode, it's like a new game with League champs and I love survival games, I wish there was more maps and more champs

As much as I appalud his committment 99% of this mode save for a few original weapons and the actual bosses (this time with mechanics) was lifted wholesale from Vampire Survivors.

Ah man it would be so cool if Riot added the ability to create your own Gamemode in the League engine, so everyone can just play with it like Sirhaian.
Its crazy to me how he had to make the prototypes in his free time and how it took a lot of convincing for higher ups to pick it up and make something out of it.
To me this tells me everything about how bad these higher ups probably are at their jobs.
Their entire purpose is to find fun ideas, talented developers and mash them together to create something good but all I see here is a layer of resistance.

Sirhaian was a youtube vfx artist who then got hired by riot. The community collectively lost it when he joined because he was know for the quaslity of his work.
absolutely wild that most of the core gamemode was developed by one guy, who wasn't even on the gamemodes team, just vfx. It just goes to show how a few hypercompetent individuals are the ones really working on the game, with hundreds of employees filling in the remaining gaps.
If the game had a proper game engine, the pipeline of making new game modes would have been so much easier.
Bro if they could just have the dev options in the PBE man it would be so helpful even for them

@@Vandiril That’s odd, it was in Arena. Might be only there. The Shyvana partner I had also had Skilled Sniper, but I don’t think that’s necessary. It said a huge percentage in the tooltip for Q.

First of all, thank you Sirhaian. I think Riot haven't done anything to motivate people to try this new game mode. I don't even see anyone in my contacts playing this mode. The missions, almost none of them were related to Swarm. I don't know, it's clear that they don't have much interest in new game modes...
Any game mode is a waste of time if it isnt Season 2 classic

What's really important is that it's finally a game mode that's NOT PvP. New game modes are cool and don't get me wrong, TfT and Arena are fun but when you play vs other players everyone will try to win and the game mode quickly moves towards optimization, metas and tryharding. In a community as toxic as League's that gets exhausting super quickly, in my opinion.

Agree the UwU bunny girl theme feels abit odd, I think I would have preferred a league version where the actual locations are used like Jinx is shooting the invading demons in piltover/zaun or Leona defending mount targon until she dies.

Swarm was very boring for me. I wish they kept an alternative gamemode with normal controls so I could kite with insane APM.

Swarm is great, but they need a ton of new items that you can build with. it's basically good content for like 16 hours and then it gets boring because of it.

I actually prefer the movement to be right click+qwer. Most games outside uses wasd as the default movement keys which makes it kinda boring for me and right click+qwer is the thing that league continuously attracts me to play the game
I can litteraly see every single asset they reused.. yorick ghouls, naafiri, even pix from lulu bruh
of course, that's actually smart, less resources then that can be used into improving other areas for the gamemode
RGG Studios (like a dragon series) always did that and nobody minded it ever.
Riot I'd a mess of a company and has countless issues, but reusing assets is not one of them

I really wish they would have kept the LoL Controls. Yeah the mode worked, but I really wish it would be a LoL PVE Mode like they originally promoted, not a entirely different game with LoL Skin.
