[READ BEFORE COMMENTING]
Hello everyone, thanks for all the feedback and support on this video! I just wanted to address something that I've seen in quite a few comments: that my voice in the video is too quiet compared to the rest of the audio. I think I may have damaged my microphone at some point and that may be why it's quieter than it otherwise should be, as it worked much better when I recorded previous viddeos. Regardless, I'll do my best to fix the audio issues in my next upload before getting a new microphone.

It might be because of how loud the rocket is. CZcams turns down volume if it gets too loud, so that could affect the volume of your voice.
So long as you're getting a good enough quality recording, you should be able to balance all the audio in editing to be whatever volume you want (within reason).
It's mono channel, the right track is without your voice, which is a bit of a pain to listen in headphones (cause it's like only one is working specifically for your voice)

As a fellow youtuber and a KSP player (in my free time), this is literally just hell lol.
I played a game of Tiny Kirbin, where everthing was 1/10th normal. It was nearly impossible to land a capsule from orbit: the entry angle was minuscule and extremely shallow. So little atmosphere compared to how much speed.
I assume it would be the opposite for Mega Kerbin: a wide, permissive reentry angle. You have plenty of atmisphere and yours nor yet to giga planet size, where the speed is unworkable.
With 1/10th size you could probably completely ignore the atmosphere entirely.
I've been playing KSP for god knows how many years now and I really don't see myself ever attempting something like this without cheats enabled. Absolute kudos to you mate for putting up with this very agonising mission. Definitely earned another subscriber.
When you make a rocket so big and massive just launching it makes it register on a seismograph.
Pretty much every modern orbital rocket registers on a seismograph somewhere. Some hobbyist rockets do too. A child on a playground can register on a seismograph.
Now, a rocket like this would register double-digits on the Richter scale, which I think is what you mean.

No, I did to and almost broke my setup.
I don't know how Sigma adjusts the planets' trajectories (or rather, how does dV budget scale with it), but in stock Kerbol system, a Mun capable rocket should theoretically be capable of landing on Gilly or Ike and returning back to Kerbin. So, if you're feeling brave... ;)
Apart from being scaled up massively, the planets' orbits are all the same otherwise. So it could theoretically be possible.. key word, "theoretically".
Assuming the resize and rescale parameters are set the same, the delta-V needed for orbital maneuvers, transfers and such scales as the square root of the scale factor - so at 30x scale, transfers are about 5.5x as expensive.
Launch/landing delta-Vs don't scale quite as harshly, because the combined losses (gravity, thrust vector and where applicable aerodynamic) go up much slower than the square root of the scale factor. For example, in 2.5x scale, you need ~5 km/s to get into LKO, or about 40% more than stock, vs sqrt(2.5) being about 1.6.
Orbital periods also scale by sqrt(scale factor), so if you are rescaling the system and want synchronous orbits to be at the same relative altitude as in stock (to, say, keep Ike synchronous to Duna), you need the day length factor to be equal to the square root of your scale factor.
@@heffmarktwo so, the gravity assists would be the only option in interplanetary travel. For example, the Mun assist to be ejected from the Kerbin system (or to settle a Minmus approach for Minmus mission, it finally wouldn't be that useless)
@@user-ek1fq3if7g no, mun assist is quite useful, because I usually return to Kerbin with like 30 to 40 Delta v, so without it I could probably stuck on solar orbit.

I just realized that since this Kerbin is 30X larger than normal, the island airfield is nearly 1000 km away from the KSC… maybe you could hear the inevitable explosion that follows?

That is something we have to keep in mind when talking about spacefaring civilizations. There is a good chance that a random alien species develops on such a super-earth, possibly around an ancient red dwarf star.
But the good thing is the Mun should support a CO2 atmosphere now. It's size is bigger than Mars and escape velocity exceeds Mercury.

Pro tip:
If a rocket massively reduces frame rate on launch an takes for ever. Fly it from map view. My 5 years of ksp experience on terrible computers tell me that this is the most effective way to do it. It’s not pretty but massively speeds it up

The game is offering you a trade where you receive cool footage, but the game receives, or takes away, half your framerate for literally no reason besides it wanting to make your life pain incarnate.
The framerate issues you were having appear to be a problem with sigma dimensions. I've had to deal with it on my own 3.2x scale career save. I haven't yet figured out why it happens, but the lag seems to occur in certain 'bands' of altitude above the surface. Often it will fluctuate very quickly, and sometimes it just doesn't happen at all.
