Psychic Investigators - From Season 1 Episode 6 "Penney Serra": Twenty-one year old Penney Serra was brutally murdered in a parking garage. The police thought it was an open and shut case - witnesses had seen a suspect flee, blood and fingerprints were also discovered. Catching the killer, however, was more difficult than imagined. As the leads grew cold, Detective George Mazzacane decided to consult psychic and time walker Mary Pascarella Downey. Mary put her visions to paper and came up with the following clues: the colour blue, the smell of garage oil, water and she stated that “blood would tell”. Mary also said it would take a very long time to apprehend Penney’s killer. The visions didn’t lead to more conclusive clues.

Will be vulnerable in saying I was SUPER skeptical of psychics…still not entirely on board, but just as of
The last couple days I’ve felt there are a HANDFUL out there that have a genuine gift…Especially the ones that can solve homicide cases from across the country I know nothing about any of the individuals yeah lead them to the exact crime scene etc.… Your social media nowadays you can learn everything about everyone and I know they’re like, interests, but their family… What they believe in… What’s important to them… Everything… But to be able to solve a homicide case from across the country and explain in detail how somebody was murdered and all of that is bewildering to me. That’s what kind of converted me if you will

@MarySpain1958 They were on the top floor of a parking garage. No one had cell phones in those days. They would probably have to go down to the street to find a pay phone. The killer had a knife and probably no one else had a weapon. Some might have seen the attacker, but from far off like another building, or saw him as he fled. The witnesses might have been women, or elderly and unable to overpower the killer. Also people can be in shock. A little kid got hit by a car right in front of me, and was lying in a pool of blood. I could think for a few seconds, and tell another kid to run and tell his mother, and when the mother screamed and cried, then I went into a trance. I felt like I was floating, it seemed like a dream. I was frozen in place. I couldn't talk or move.

All of us are unique,so are they and the way they work.So ,in case one of them does not have access to the much needed information;I would go and ask for someone else's help . 2 psychic investigators are better than one sometimes. It's like going to a doctor for advise . Best thing is going to see a second and maybe third also.

@Coco-pk1yb There aren't enough details for us to know that. Maybe the witnesses were mothers with babes in arms and other children. Maybe they correctly assessed that they couldn't take him on. Maybe they did try to help. Maybe they ran to find help. It's not always wise to take on a knife wielding murderer, if you don't know how to fight and don't have a weapon.

I, too, would have been very hesitant and was glad to know I wouldn't have been alone in having doubts, at first -- or even all the way you journied to the final result. I HAD to hold back absolute trust -- just in case..., I'm assuming that was how the Detective felt.

10:15 given the seriousness and the gravity of the situation. It’s really ignorant on the part of that detective to immediately turn down the psychics request because if you watch the shows, they typically do need a personal item from the victim to hold in touch, and that’s simply the way it works. It is the way it is and it should not have been a problem whatsoever. Given he could turn around and get vital evidence based on that that is usable to lead him to the suspect, I’m just blown away that he would turn down her request at first yet he’s the one who reached out to her from the get go. There are some very legitimate psychic detectives out there and I’m also surprised he didn’t try reaching out to a few others. Carol pate is one of the best I’ve ever seen.

She also dreamed of me when we met in a mall after not seeing each other for a long time. I think i met her in past life that is why there is instant connection. I just lost her friendship when she moved to her son. Her son doesn't like me and he is not nice. I never visited her because of her son. She's probably gone already, she is older than me. What? A random act of violence? Naw, that doesn't happen! Idiots! Surprised they didn't let the killers go, & hurry back to arrest the boyfriend again! They'd spent so much time trying to convince him he was the killer! You're gonna throw all that time down the toilet? Just because he was slaving away in a restaurant all night with his co-workers doesn't mean anything, right??? Go back, charge the boyfriend, & make it stick, right??? "Case closed" - that's what we wanna hear, right? Just because the partial print & the DNA proves it was Grant, that doesn't mean anything, right??? Charge anyone, charge the psychic! Just make it stick!

Can give the first letter to a name, but no full name. I say big deal.

If there were so many witnesses, why didn't someone help her? I swear. You can stand along the highway with your guts hanging out and nobody would say squat about it.

@@Love-ku6yc This happened almost 50 years ago when attacks like this rarely happened, unlike today, where the increase in crime has made situational awareness a necessity. That being said, usually when something like this happens, even today, it's so startling and fast that there is little time to react, and most people who are not response trained freeze in shock. That's why the element of surprise is used by so many criminals in the first place.

The psychic did nothing, science did.
