- [ David ] Olive Neal entered, naturally,
with the force of a hurricane.
- Hey, you gonna hover
over me like dead meat?
- Mr. V. says I stay close.
I told ya he said the Belasco,
not the Morosco, you cementhead!
- Hello, Olive.
- Hello.
- Everyone, this is Dr. Philips.
Olive Neal.
- Hi, nice to meet you.
- You know Julian.
- Yes.
- My assistant, Lorna.
- Hi.
- Eden Brent, Kristen.
- Ah, cute dog.
- Warner Purcell. Lieutenant Masters.
- Charmed, charmed, charmed.
- Stage manager Mitch.
- Mitch, hi, hi, hi, hi.
- And you are?
- I'm with her.
- He's with me. Yeah.
- Okay. Okay.
Well, um, we're just gonna
rehearse for a while, so--
Yeah.
Where she goes, I go.
All right, buster,
why don't you park yourself in
the back row of the theater...
and try not to snore.
Um, I--
- What?
- I don't like other people
watching rehearsals...
- generally as a rule because
the actors are very sensitive.
- What'd you say?
- I-I don't like--
- Hey, hey, who are you? Who are you?
- Whoa, whoa. Easy.
- I'm the director.
- Who is this?
- Wait a minute.
Wait a minute, Mr., uh--
- Cheech. The name's Cheech.
- Mr. Cheech, first of all--
- No, not Mr. Cheech. Ya hear me?
- Yeah.
- Cheech. Simple. Cheech.
- Cheech.
Now, why don't you just take a seat
in the back and we'll-- Yeah, go ahead.
- That's it.
- I find this very problematic.
- I'll be over there.
- He'll be unobtrusive, believe me.
He's not gonna bother anybody.
He just wants to watch.
He's my bodyguard.
[ Giggles ]
- Hi.
- Hello.
- Sorry I'm late.
I'm usually highly professional.
- Oh, I'm sure.
- This is for you.
- Oh, talcum powder. My favorite.
- Thank you. You're a doll.
- Oh, no, you're a doll.
She really deserved her Oscar...
She was magnificent. I really wished she won that Oscar!!
There wasn't a bad performance in this whole damn film.
"Charm charm charm. Ha! No manners." 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Great movie❤ One of my favourite ❤❤
I'm so glad she changed her voice for this role
hahaha that was a good one
she literally played herself :)
1:20..the way cusack expresses his feelings about the situation, whispering his displeasure, acting the passive/aggressive, is comedy at its best..👍
One of Woody's funniest movies. Saw this when it was released and we were howling laughing the entire time.
Charm charm charm.
This is a superb film. Cheech has hidden talent.
A couple years ago, I introduced "Bullets over Broadway" to my Mom. Near the end of the movie, my Mom asked, "Did she (Jennifer) get any awards for this?" I told her she got the Oscar nomination, but Dianne Wiest won. Then, my Mom said, "Jennifer should have won! She's great!"
This film is great on so many levels.
My favourite character of all time.
Chaz glued this film together, truly!
Just Cheech...
Who ever heard of black pearls?
"... they must have come from defective oysters!"
"im with her" "hes with me" Lmao
LOVED HER IN THIS PART
Miss tilly's performance was even better than Mira Sorvino who won the Oscars ,, Miss tilly should have got the Oscars for this performance ..
Dianne Wiest won the oscar for best supporting actress
Ummm diane wiest won the awards, her costar
Dianne Wiest is a lead
Love her
she and Renee Zellweger are sound alike
My god her walk 😂😂😂
I was an extra in this scene. Coincidentally, Jennifer is the sister of a then-martial arts colleague, although I didn’t know it at the time.
Jennifer is just so Yummy. I have to watch this movie. And I usually cant sit through anything involving cinema. I have not watched 99% of what was produced in Hollywood or internationally in my life spanning 6 decades. Watching actors act is not interesting to me.
