- In this short tutorial I teach you how to achieve my interpretation of a loose winter watercolor landscape. I demonstrate how I achieve two different styles of trees, from loose distance trees to textured detailed trees for contrast. We'll finish the painting with a touch of Dr. Ph. Martin's Bleed Proof White for some snowy details.

Is it just me but it always sounds like a rustling sound in the background? Kind of off putting as I love your tutorials
I paint fog and mountains too, but yours are stunning!! I love the way you speak calmly, and you don’t waste time talking about unnecessary things. Let’s just paint! Thank you!
Hi - I am from the Pacific Northwest - Vancouver Island to be exact. Don't we live in the most beautiful part of the world? and this is lovely - soft yet clear!!
I love the sound of rain in the background. Very soothing!
Beautiful. I live in Oregon and we have pine, spruce, cedar and other trees like this. Thanks for speaking at a nice relaxing volume. ❤
Volume is fine!
Beautifully done. I'm from Washington State. My sister in Mississippi asked why i paint my evergreens blue green? 😂
Yes, I grew up on the Willamette Valley ofOregon. living in Texas now and I really, really miss the trees. Not mention the rainy weather-I love your rain sound effects!
It looks like a lot of people are painting foggy forrests all of a sudden!!
It would be rare or maybe even impossible to get fog at the same time as snow on trees In nature
I deeply appreciate the magical atmosphere that arises from the harmonious fusion of pine trees and mist. It is simultaneously engaging, serene, and mysterious. Thanks a lot for sharing!
Love love love,
Just beautiful!❤
Hello everyone,

I absolutely loved this and will defo have a go! Thank you
Soo beautiful! I just love it. ❤
Had so much fun with this and you're helping me find my way with the atmoshperic touch and loosness. Thank you.
I LOVE the painting.
Brilliant idea to use the two facing pages of the sketchbook to document your color and technique choices. It solves my problem of "How did I do that before?" Your tutorials are relaxing but ever so informative. Thank you for all of the effort you put into them.
