Hey girl! Ty for showing all of the hall!! This was such a great tour! Can you explain the restrooms though? I’m a bit confused. Y’all have assigned restrooms? but they’re out of your dorms? Like you have to go out in the hallway to get to it?
Lindsey ford yes, so they’re pod style and basically there are sections in the hallways (like mine) where 4 rooms are like in their own little section and among them the restrooms are outside which have 2 bathrooms and 2 sinks. Those are pretty much yours to use since they’re right outside your door in the middle area . There’s also people who have their dorm in the main hallway so they don’t have sections like the one I’m in , for those people there will usually be bathrooms in the main hallway they can use. I show both types of restrooms in my video!! I hope this helps , maybe if you read what I said and look back it’ll make a little more sense 🥴
Noemy Sanchez can you tell me a little about the parking situation there? Is it in the parking garage kinda close to it or that parking lot across from the main entrance? Lol I just committed to UNT so I’m a bit curious. Thanks!!!
@@lindseyyy222 So Highland parking garage is just right beside Joe Greene, you just have to cross the street. It's convenient tbh BUT... its also pretty pricy so I'd just recommend you look into that. There's also parking right in front of Joe Greene but I'm not sure how you buy parking for that area :/ but to answer your question, yes there is a parking lot right in front of the building!

Hufflepuff Gal yay I’m a unt student as well I love this campus I like to tell other students UNT fall vibes are the best football games tailgating. Easier and not nerve wrecking to join clubs. Everyone is refreshed because of a 3 month break. It’s the best 😊

Emily Hernandez I have a lot of friends that live there and love it !! It’s not as new tbh but it’s big and the rooms are bigger and have restrooms built in :) I will say though it is a lot stricter, I’ve stayed over and gotten written up for talking loud without even a warning and the walls are thin so you can hear almost everythingggggg. But that’s just my intake, it’s a good hall overall!!😁

are the rooms in joe greene big enough for you to put the beds back to back on the same wall? I've seen that done in bruce
Sarah Decker , I don’t think so, the rooms have cutouts that make the walls come out at the ends , butttt I may be wrong I just haven’t seen anyone do it at Joe Green either, the rooms are pretty small :(

Yasmine Wade yess!! When the housing application opens your allowed to pick what dorm you want and it’ll accept or neglect your choice depending on whether there are still spots available for the dorm you want. I’d check at UNT’s Housing website because I believe the application already opened for freshman :)
@@noemysanchez3445, how does picking your roommate work do u do it or do you go through an elimination process how does it work?
Jay Kinder so basically when u log onto eHousing you if you already have someone in mind and y’all are both going to be in the same dorm you can go to room assignment and all you need is to submit their UNT Id # and they need to submit yours as well then u should be good !! If you don’t know anyone then I would just try to reach out through Instagram to other students or go to your roommate matches on ehousing and start contacting them 😃, there’s a deadline so if you don’t have someone by it then you’ll be randomly assigned :)

Aye It’s Carter , just because it’s new I would have to say Joe Greene, the furniture won’t be worn down like other dorms, you don’t have to worry about cleaning your bathroom and the location is pretty convenient! But of course it also depends on the kind of dorm environment your looking for, but I believe Joe Greene is the nicest of all freshman dorms :)

Isaiah Johnson , honestly I couldn’t really tell you because every dorm is different but Joe Greene is the newest so it’s the nicest! It kind of depends on what kind of room your looking for :)
