I love the portrayal between both sides, Pacifist being patient and trying his hardest to justify the actions of the human, even referring to them as their proper name, while Genocide's patience has run dry, and has focused on getting justice, finding the pleasure in each attack. It fits their eye colors, and the overall portrayal of Sans' character between the 2 routes. Nicely done!
there is one thing to be said, AND THAT ITS NOT FRISK DOING THIS, sans DOES think frisk can still do good if they just go back and reset, but the problem is FRISK did not want any of this, they arent in controll, we CANNONICALLY control frisk i believe (honestly its a bit ehhhh). but i think thats the case, so thats why they still see good in frisk CUZ there is, but sans sees the player sorta? maybe? idk? thats just a theory, in other case uh sans knows about the timeline being erased, undyne just sees the wrong, mettaton is just programmed for this case ig, it makes since.
@@glareninjaI thought it was a reference to how, in the game, if you look in the mirror in the New Home, right before the sans fight, the text will say "It's me, Chara" (assuming you chose the true name). Meaning it's literally not Frisk that sans is fighting. At least, that's what I thought the song was referring to.

Sans on pacifist knows their name is Frisk. Everyone does except Napstablook. Genosans doesn't know their name, and they don't know about the player.

everyones talking about how pacifist sans is more patient and what not, y'know, genocide is enjoying the pain or whatever, but i also noticed this small change in pacifist's dialogue that made me wonder if at the end they kind of switch up personalities?
I mean, we see Pacifist say that its clear to him now how the player has too "atone for their sins", and Genocide seems a little bit hopeful on the idea of change at the end, asking the player to "Go back and reset".
I might be reading too much into this though, who knows
anyway! This song is genuinely so good?? Like, Time Paradox was already good, but after adding lyrics??? honestly incredible, definitely watching more of these
genocide found patience in "waiting for you to change", while pacifist found out that you are not frisk, and that justice must be served,

I like how pacifist sans is trying to believe that they are a good person, while genocide sans says they are too far gone. Also pacifist is looking like he is having second thoughts, and genocide sans is enjoying frisk getting wrecked and he's smiling. Lyrics are nice and I'd say this is really well done!

-shows mercy to everyone even tho some of them try to kill them and /or are jerks
-goes out of their way to solve everyone’s problems
ig giving undyne’s letter to alphys
-and freeing everyone sans knows and loves from the underground
also love that the sans came from a post pacifist timeline ( surface ) and not the underground
and geno sans sees the human as a demon that:
-picks “Fight” even if gets spared ( toriel , papyrus, whimsun and glad dummy )
-goes out of their way to hunt every monster down ( not just trying to leave the underground )
-is the reason everyone sans knew and loved are dead
i mean its true for both of them but of course each player is different and the choices are already done

That is quite literally the point of the battle? Sans draws out the battle as long as possible to annoy you and get you to reset. And you only fight when you kill everyone, so yeah. I’m pretty sure he does symbolize patience and justice.

@@adudewhoasked7123thats also the whole point of the AU canon lore. as the lore goes like: normal sans fight but the machine in sans’s secret lab activates making sans’s justice and patience be split apart into two of them, one representing justice and the other patience, hence the way they’re colored.
I love the talk between each Sans, the pacifist one not believing you could do this, while the geno one is completely jaded.

I love how towards the end of the song; Pacifist Sans start to think that Frisk/Chara/Player (whoever you wish to pin the blame on) isn't really his friend. Whereas Genocide Sans eventually tries to actually give them a chance a change, since it'd be better, anything would be better, than what's happening now.

The pacifist sans saying "either way you have to atone" gave me a fight idea, it would be a post pacifist timeline, where for some reason frisk decided to just..yknow, get that genocide and started killing, but sans would try to stop them by trying to fully break them by doing his thing where he doesnt let you take your turn, just having his turn, attacking you all the time, but ust before dying, he would change his attacks to heal you instead

After reading about the Time paradox story. I dont think i want to go to my old save file because its (not?)down to the letter for situation. A true pacifist route and a genocide route on Sans.
well technically its different due to canon lore but the owners made the lore kinda hard to understand
but uh canon lore is that since sans eye glows yellow and blue wich means justice and patience so like in the timeline when you’re gonna fight sans the machine in his lab malfunctions and instead separates sans patience and justice side wich is why they clearly knew what was happening
