A relative of mine suffered from non-alcoholic liver cirrhosis. To supplement his treatment, his doctor recommended he take most of the supplements I noticed in the house: fish oil, vitamin D3 & milk thistle (commonly sold as a liver supplement, wouldn't be surprised if that's what was in all that Liver Healer). It was our experience that one can function mostly fine until the late stages of cirrhosis, but when those late stages do arrive, the decline is pretty swift and brutal. If the homeowner suffered from cirrhosis, from alcoholism or otherwise, they certainly could've gone from living independently to hospice care pretty quickly, which might explain why their home was left in that state.
Then again, given the severity of the water and potential foundation damage, maybe they're still alive - perhaps they put off dealing with those problems until their home was uninhabitable and they were forced to leave.
What really struck me is the same thought that Paul had: some of the stuff looks like it's been sitting in the dampness for a decade, other things look like they were just purchased from the store a month ago, like those bottles of liver supplement. Certainly gives the place a creepy vibe.
Very odd to see bottles of CBD oil. If Paul or any Brits chance to see this, when did the CBD fad take off in the UK? Here in the States, it's only gotten popular within the last 6-8 years. I wouldn't have thought it would be as well-known in the UK, because it does seem like we Americans tend to be a bit more enthusiastic about cannabis 😁(CBD is a non-psychoactive component of cannabis, and here in the States, it's the latest magical cure-all panacea). For all I know, CBD has been widely available in the UK for decades, but it's odd to see CBD tinctures in a place that looks so profoundly dated.
Then again, as wet as the place is, I guess it makes sense that aggressive strains of mold could take it over quickly. Never seen anything like that suitcase, it looks like the spores devoured it and left a suitcase-shaped husk behind! Really fascinating place, and another great upload, hopefully all those spores in the air didn't strain your lungs too much!
Thank you for the information about the cirrhosis and the liver healer. I did wonder what that was for. Do Milk Thistle and Fish Oil and vitamin D3 really help the liver? It sounds really awful towards the end. Not many diseases are pleasant, are they? I have never seen anything like that suitcase, or the cupboard door either; it's incredible!
CBD here in the UK is quite 'new', but it was several years ago when I first heard of it - perhaps six years? Well after the vaping e-cigarettes were introduced..
Looks like biggest danger is the mould.

Another good one. I could smell that mold from here! Always good to keep in mind that those apps have a built-in store of pre-made phrases, words, names, and other things programmed in by the creator. The phrases are all targeted at paranormal investigators and ghost-hunting. Remember the days of CD stackers? You'd put 10 discs in a file system and set it to ''shuffle play'', which would play the discs randomly and mixed up. The apps are similar, in that the phrase files are spat out randomly, BUT are aimed to resonate with those in the paranormal scene, so anything that comes out will be ''relevant'' somewhere during your investigation. Enough words and phrases and you'll soon have a whole made-up backstory to be excited about. Cheers for telling it like it is, and not inflating it all for ratings. You rarity, you!

Your title is absolutely spot on. Moulds are potentially extremely dangerous. Nice location, not too badly trashed by people and the expected result to the investigation. Hope Mark is ok, my first thought was that he had changed 🙂 The GhostTube app is sold for "entertainment" purposes only and I think it has to be viewed that way. Out of curiosity did you record this one before or after the broom incident ? The carrier bad is a nice touch too 🙂 On to the next one!

Shared out earlier, sorry i missed the premiere. Pleased to see you with a mask on as mould is the worst for causing respiratory problems and other issues. Really enjoyed this. Quaint little bungalow, the old oven/grill was a great old feature. Great watch and proof that paranormal doesnt happen on command. Great genuine true investigation. Those damn so-called spirit boxes are designed for paranormal channels to add drama, nothing more. That and some other so-called paranormal technology are the things that make me laugh this stuff off. But it makes for good entertainment, some of it.

It is good when people try ghost hunting in random places, because the fact that nothing happens at some locations and stuff happens at others does give credibility to the idea that locations are haunted, and some aren't...

Please be careful in mouldy places. Honestly you could end up with some horrendous illness that you can't get rid of, I know from experience
Thanks for this explore. Often these days people are outliving their children and there isn't anyone alive that knows the old people are still around so when they die there is a time capsule and it is the neighbours that will board a place up to stop the vandals coming into the neighbourhood. sometimes if the family is estranged from the younger generation the places will be left as well. I think that places have to be left for a certain amount of years until lawyers have exhausted all avenues of tracking relatives down before a place can be considered abandoned.

It's allayed mystery to me and so sad that there are so many abandoned homes with everything left, be it 2yrs or 20, and yt there are photos of children and grandchildren, have 5o wonder what happened to the happy days. I think that maybe the family leave the things inside for the parents that past away, it’s like a tomb for the parents in the afterlife, if they were the owners of the house and had lived their most of their lives then if there is an afterlife wouldn’t you want to be in your home of so many years, hence why the windows were boarded up.
I'll wager the people who lived there were made aware of just how dangerous white and black mold are to humans, and they made the safe decision to take nothing with them. Just a guess.
If I'd just learned that about that home, I'd run away too.

I don't know if you'll get back this late to ready my comment, but if you do, would it be possible for you to spend a little less time focusing on your face and mask with the bright light? For people like me with cataracts, it's actually painfully bright white and I have to cover the screen. If not, no worries, just asking. Also, a suggestion, I'd never, ever give permission to anything or anyone else to use my energy, that's dangerous.

Interesting place I often wonder too why places get left with all memorabilia in them it's very bizarre unless there is no other family members left to sort it out.
I think that is why. That will happen to me when I am too sick or pass away. I have got nieces and nephews and some cousin-type relatives, but they don't know me. If the house is to be sold, it will be cleared out, perhaps by a 'House Clearance' firm i.e. a van and a couple of men. It's very sad.
I dont understand why all the furniture is left its so sad i agreed though the whole family would clear it surely one member could do it but could be a loner which is sad

Good investigation and the Ghost app was quite talkative. I know you don't like them much but sometimes its good to have them to bounce off and just occasionally the responses are relevant to what is going on which I find weird.

There's a giant gap in your mask between your nose and cheek. Besides, unless it's an N95 and worn properly, that cloth mask isn't doing anything to protect you from spores. It does make it harder to understand what you're saying, though.
