Yeah! Veneficium is definitely my favourite one!
It's rare that I enjoy an album completely from start to finish. Usually I'll skip back and forth over the songs I enjoy less but wow. It came as a genuine relief when I discovered that this really is an album meant to be listened to from beginning to end.
I'm currently torn between 'Now or Never', 'Black Anima' and 'Black Dried Up Heart' in terms of favorites.
Definitely one of my favorite albums, right up there with Karmacode and Unleashed Memories.
I did listen to the whole album and all I can say is wow. I am so glad that Delirium pulled me back into actively listening to Lacuna coil again and I really like Delirium a lot but Black Anima lyric wise and the vocals definitely shows the bands maturity and artistic potential they have always had as both people and musicians.
SWORD OF ANGER IS INSANE!!!! Probably my new fav Coil song ever

As a Lacuna Coil fan for a long, long time, Black Anima still sounds so fresh to me. I can't get enough of this album.

This is a great album. There are actually 14 songs if review bonus track songs which are fantastic too. It is not as commercial as previous albums but very good

Lacuna Coil is amazing, I went to school in Calgary Alberta when they were still a young band and I had the opportunity to go to one of their shows for $15 Canadian back in the day at the University of Calgary but I was too concerned with getting drunk and finding ladies. I definitely kick myself to this day 14 years later for not going to that concert especially now that i have gotten into heavier music. Coulda shoulda woulda kind of thing haha
Sword of Anger is my favorite of the two but both are fucking great songs
This album was definitely a grower for me. Found it dull at first and now I think it's amazing as opposed to Delirum where I loved it at first and for months after then when I came back to it to prepare for this I put it in the bottom tier of their albums. Great to see you react to these.
I hated The End Is All I Can See at first but now it’s one of my favorites 😂 I love the eerie industrial sound that comes in with the creepy riff in the beginning, and the overall vibe of the song.
Veneficium is so fucking good
This album overall is just good to me, there's something that is lacking in some songs.
My favorite is weirdly enough the first song Anima Nera followed by Layers of Time and Sword of Anger.
Been a fan since Comalies and their Black Anima tour was incredible, so proud that their UK stint was totally sold out, they just constantly get better.

Veneficium is my favorite song, but that ending segment of Sword Of Anger is so badass, it almost tops it for me. That part belonged on a better song
