In this video my friends @Fantst @Bubbo @YelloWool @SquareApple and @KIERandDEV try to hunt me down and stop me from beating Minecraft, however this time dying swaps your team back and forth between speedrunner and hunter. This was super intense and really funny.
this is minecraft speedrunner vs hunter aka minecraft manhunt but theres a twist, it's not modded. I have a custom minecraft plugin that asked me op questions like would you rather manhunt. very similar to minecraft manhunt, but AI makes the twist or minecraft manhunt, but you can combine anything, this is minecraft manhunt challenge popularized by dream, this is not a minecraft but challenge or a minecraft smp video. this is inspired by creators like bubbo, boosfer, yellowool, kier and dev, dream, and wilbur soot

technically he never died so i guess they do win
If they ever do this challenge again, they should probably add different color names so the teams can differentiate each other

I think this would be better if there was a penalty for dying, getting worse every time. Otherwise they won't give 100% as long as they are in the "wrong" team.

I've actually done this with my friends in the past (because we all always die as speedrunner), I'm excited to see how you do it!
Twist idea i had from this one: Hotseat Manhunt. Runner has no advantages and hunters go full tryhard and maybe even get some starting gear. Whoever kills the Runner becomes the new Runner. There will guranteed be a runner win, but it becomes more of a race/bounty hunt.
Maybe to encourage constant hunting you get buffs for being in the hotseat, like a permanent potion effect every 5 minutes clocked or something.

I gotta point out the "is this a filtered seed?" Moment. Are you guys using the 1.20 experiments for this vid?
I've been using them and the amount of multitask/double forts/fort spawns/double structures&spawners seem to be skyrocketing in my runs.
I think Mojang wants any nether spawn to make every player feel like they've done some crazy shit unless I'm just too damn good at the game this weekend [all of a sudden]
Bro I literally died in the middle of 4 open blaze spawners AT MY PORTAL SPAWN last night.

@@olike245 yuh man, it's like I spent years learning how to speedrun as efficiently as possible and now I'm being spit on and kicked in the ribs with perfect RNG every run.
If I go back to 1.16 before brutes were added and pearl trades were nerfed I'd be fine, yet also missing out on SO much new content that makes the game fresh again.
I don't wanna spend 8 hours in the nether looking for a fortress like a noob but I'll be damned if the triumph of learning to do it faster against all odds isn't being taken away from me rn.
