@@matthewwinter5780 Oh totally, that’s a large part of the issue. My reason for the question was that his main board is less noisy than these Helix presets. He has a few Boss pedals, which utilize built-in buffers. Could this be the reason? In my experience, digital effects units seem to have a quieter output. (I own a Kemper and HX Effects)
@@zeejonesy don’t take this the wrong way as I am a happy helix user, it’s something about the way drives stack in the helix, it’s not the same as 2 pedals. Also James has a JHS modded dynacomp in his board so his compression is quieter than the standard dynacomp that is modeled in the helix
Love hearing James break down his live board and how he likes to run everything. Really inspiring and always love his tones. Thanks for the video!
i just love James tones!
The thing I want to hear most when watching this video is that Harmony Stratotone hanging on the wall!
Does this work for Pod Go since it uses Helix engines?
The website is off
Sounds soooo good, but overdrives are pretty noisy. Is there a way to minimize this?
He’s got single coils, that’s gonna happen

Add noise gate 👍👍
Did the preset get moved to another website?
I can’t find it anywhere
@@blakehelton4483 they deleted the website I'm pretty sure. Real bummer
