- Today, I became a daily florist with my older sister :) I thought I'd make a better flower arrangement if I get my sister's help, because she actually learned how to do it!
She went to the flower market to choose each of the flowers. So, today's flower arrangement is made with effort and sincerity:)
I could feel why so many people arrange flowers. It helped me to relax my mind and body, and to heal! It was so interesting!
My flowers are for you, my subscribers. Do you like it...? I have clumsy hands, so it's not good enough. But I was quite satisfied with the result!

I love "Waiting"! It feels full but not overflowing, and it feels light but substantial. To me, Solar-nim has quite a knack for flower arranging and making it feel meaningful.

I don't know why it is so satisfying watching Solar-nim learning new things and seeing the way she processes the world through little things. It is also super cute, the way she focuses, does her best, and (often) does quite well on her first try, like she does here!

After reflecting on what Solar-nim said at 3:34 , it occurred to me how much it reflects such an open mind and generous acceptance. We often see only the bloom of a flower as being the most worthy of attention and appreciation, but so much went into the stems that support the bloom. The vibrant color of the sturdy stem is also beautiful in its own way, and both the stem and flower bring out the best in each other.

What I love about Solar's vlog is it's different from most other celebrity blogs. Usually female idols show them traveling, going to restaurants and sightseeing, maybe showing fashion. Solar does do that but most of her vlogs show her trying something new - with enthusiasm - and usually succeeding - but she's not afraid to fail.

I'm a real sucker for flowers (was just on the balcony looking at mine), so this episode gets a few more extra points😊.
They're both different, but I like them. Big Yong looks made by someone who "has an eye for it", it would suit well in a polished atmosphere. (And I'm so glad to have her on screen again..!)
But Yongsun looks like it could've been made while walking in nature; not perfect but free-spirited (this is my fave if I have to pick).

Solar's 'Waiting' reminds me of the Ikebana art of flower arrangement while Yong-Hee's 'Student of floral arrangement' is very centerpiece like.
I prefer the height, even if the bottom stems are exposed, because you can play a little more, but tight clean arrangements are also pleasing on the eye.
