4 cups all-purpose flour
1½ cups cocoa powder
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. baking soda
2 tsps. salt
1000 grams/ ml water
4 cups brown sugar
2 whole eggs
1 cup corn oil
¼ cup white vinegar
Caramel icing:
4 tall cans evaporated milk
½ cup cornstarch
1¼ cup brown sugar
8 egg yolks
225g butter

I just tried this recipe today and indeed it was good! It’s not sweet and the cake is very moist! Even the caramel icing is just a perfect touch to the cake! I tweaked it a lil bit and added just a pinch of salt. I’m gonna have it rest in the fridge for overnight and see if it tastes better tomorrow! Thank you chef RV for this wonderful recipe! 🤗👍

Chef's thank you for sharing this. Tama po cnabi nio n natatakot po tlg ako subukan. Kz ayw ko po n nag fi failed. And mahina po loob ko. Pero nagsisimula n po ako mg bake, so far ok nmn po sabi ng family ko. Medyo hindi lng ma afford ang mga ingredients kaya pahinto hinto. And kulang din sa mga gamit. Steamed lng po sakin. Wla po kz ako oven. Pero super like ko po tlg mg bake, sa Steamed Steamed lng po muna ako, pra lng muna sa 4 kiddos ko.😊 Keep it up Chef, andami nio po na22lungan sa mga recipes nio. Thank you,Chef RV♥️I just baked the cake and made the Natilla Icing for a taste test just now and made half of the recipe(before I make lots to give for my friends) and turned out SO good though I changed the water to milk and coffee and dropped few grated chocolate bars(dark chocolate is the best)for a more and more chocolaty flavor.

@@michellreyes7777 Hi🙂I didn’t use tin cans,I used my round Pyrex and two disposable rectangular shape aluminum foil containers and no I didn’t grease it with anything(butter,oil)and when you remove it from the container,it will stick a little bit but all good,you just have to chill it first before serving then you can still get it off perfectly.
