- This guide is meant to be very basic and not be complicated. My hope is that any noob can use this to grow from. Nex is almost a must do with the new skill Necromancy and she is easier than ever! I will show you how to complete Nex Solo, which in the end would make doing a public instance just that much easier for you.

Your guide is wonderful, thank you so much! I wound up using the tank T70 gear as I was dying in the second ice prison too much. Tanked ice with ease. I also manually used death skulls instead of on my revo bar and that also worked better for me. Many thanks again!

If you can spare the money too, swap the blood amulet and grab a reaper necklace. Accuracy is extremely important at nex. And if you are able to ditch the BoB familiar, grab a ice nihil, it improves accuracy even further.
I recommend tank armor over power armor. Powerburst of vitality is required to guarantee tanking the second prison of ice, and unless you're 110+ necromancy with some high tier accessories, you're probably gonna take two full rotations to kill her in every phase. I've very often had her stack me for 7k+2.5k on the same tick during the second ice prison when res is on cd, but deathwarden gear giving you 13k hp makes it so easy. It slows blood phase a tiny bit, but you can't really brute force that with deathdealer anyway. Beginner strategies should be slow and reliable and "just eat" isn't safe for ice prison, at least not safe enough to use power over tank armor.
The biggest mechanical issue beginners will face on blood phase is attacking too soon. Even giving nex a single hit of healing will set you back an entire rotation, because there are only 6 autoattacks between siphons, and if you heal her with 1, it'll take you a second just to get her back to where she was, which is 33% of your time gone. I've occasionally managed to deaggro Nex during her siphon, allowing me to chill and kill the reavers as long as I stay out of her line of sight, so maybe mess around with surging out of line of sight the tick her siphon starts.

I just got my first Nex kill (have tried before and always failed in the blood phase) I usually don't do any manual abilities, I am a bit of an old lady, but got there in the end, even if it took me quite a while to get the kill. Now I just need to do it 4 more times. Thanks again, such a good clear video.

Thanks, this guide just helped me get my first few kills at Nex using necromancy, and I've now unlocked the T80 power armor which will be very useful (gotta go grind Hermod for more plates though, grrr).

Little late to the party, but, I’m using necro to get into pvm for the first time and this was a perfect baseline to build off. Earned a sub for sure

I believe the following suggestions will improve the experience:
1) Replace Lotd with Asylum Surgeon ring (if you have passive RoV and 85 def), Ring of Vigour (if not passive), Ring of Fortune (if passive RoV but no def for ASR)
2) Do your t80 tank task first, since the weapons are the same you can easily get t80 weapons for practically free, all reqs minus necro level are assist able so smithing is not an issue.
3) Toss that dinky amulet of blood fury and buy a reaper's necklace with the money you get by selling a Lotd, the accuracy boost is super nice on high def bosses.
4) By the time you actually try going for t80 power you'll have more than enough to mostly afk the fight kiln, get that cape, it's essentially free with necro for the effort.
5) 8500 souls is not a lot, both darkness and invoke death are extremely powerful incantations.
6) Realistically if you're going for t80+ you really should get invention, the grind is not too long for the unlocks it provides, basic perks such as enchanced devoted 2 will be extremely powerful at the early levels and by the time you have overloads you'll have the requirements for extreme invention pots which will help out a ton with getting higher tier perks.

Guide works like a charm, made for easy kills. One problem: I couldnt pick up the Zaryte fragments. Dont know if it was a glitch, but several kills and all I could pick up was some brews and restores...
That sounds like a bug. The fragment should only drop once you get the tasks to the power armor. I don’t know of any reasons preventing one one from picking them up. I would submit a bug ticket with Jagex for sure

This is a lot more difficult at this current level now with the nerfs to necromancy.
Love the guide, but struggling hard on blood phase. My hit chance is only 38%, how is yours so much higher? I can’t do more damage than she gets healed by the reavers for.
Sometimes it’s RNG with getting those critical hits. I have been stuck in blood phase a few times even when I know I can pass it. You can try upgrading your overloads if you are not using elder. You might also benefit from getting a higher necro level just to increase crit chance. It still takes me 3-4 cycles to beat the blood phase

Does your ghost and skeleton heal her when shes attack when immune. I have auto attack off but they still attAck her when i try to avoid hitting her.. i cant get her to stop healing
She will still heal a bit off them, but it won’t stop you from the kill. I don’t think you can avoid it. She will also do a small bulk heal each time the phase starts again. Just focus on you not hitting her your self and you should be okay. It still could take going though the phase 3-4 times before you finally get her down. Don’t be worried if it takes a few times of repeating the phase.
Can not pass phase 3, i give up at 10min and nex is at 200k hp.... i dont attack, barely at all and even then she keeps healing. No conjures........

How exactly do you know Nex is immune and healing from your attacks? It wasn't clear.
She will say ‘A siphon will solve this’. Then her animation will start. Once you see the animation stop, you should be clear. Or when she starts attacking you again.

how do you know how many necro stacks you have? i dont see that anywhere
Look up necrosis on the rs3 wiki. It will show you the icon to look for on your buff bar. The icon will show a number overlayed on it and that is how many you have saved. Always use them at 6 or higher.
@@realzeeack i take it that doesnt show up unless you have the new interface for ingame instead of the one that looks like oldschools?
@DaddyIssy that is a good question and I am not sure how the buff bar works on the legacy view. Try looking in the layout settings to see if you can find the buff bar. I would not be shocked if Jagex did not add it to a legacy view.
@@realzeeack they didn’t but I watched a video and set up a interface with the new modern stuff to where I can understand what I’m looking at after a few videos, I only have ambassador left to go for the t90 power armor now, I’ve soloed everything so far
dude she only melees me, idk how people are taking steps away form her. she just gets right in my face and shits on me, then on the shadow phase I walka few steps, there is no shadow, i just take constant damage

Make sure Volley of Souls is not part of your revolution bar. Your bar will auto trigger it even if you have 2 souls. You want to manually use that ability when 3 souls are built up 🙂
