    If you guys like Plazma so much, it is sold as Lane in North America (due to some name dispute with an Italian brand). Any Balkan store should have it, in the US you can even get it at certain Walmarts

      It is used in central to east Europe and banned in some Asian countries and Saudi Arabia. Blue poppy seeds are widely used in Austrian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, German, Hungarian, Lithuanian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, Turkish and Ukrainian cuisines. In North America, I have seen poppy seed salad dressing and muffins with poppy seeds.

    That's coincidental - 40+ years back on train Thessaloniki into then Yugoslavia at the border stop ladies were selling rice pudding at the tracks. Had 2 servings and were great.

    Hi! I just found your channel, really cool. I am hoping to visit Belgrade this summer just on my own..and wanted to see if you have any tips...if it is safe for Americans?😆 Canadians I think are more well liked than us ☺ Thanks! It looks like a very beautiful city! Glad to watch your videos, very helpful to see before my trip. I hope to go end of June through first week of July. 😀

      Thank you very much! We feel very safe here, and I wouldn’t worry about being American, as long as you are polite when interacting with people! We have found that learning a little bit of Serbian goes a long way (please, thank you, hello, goodbye, etc.); people here seem to be very appreciative when we try to communicate in the local language! I think you’ll have a great time in Belgrade 😊

    In order to travel with your dog and cat in EU (and other countries/conditions may vary), you have to have animal passport, animal needs to have a chip….after your vet examined the animal,you need to go to the Republic Veterinary Inspection-
    ISSUING PET CERTIFICATES:
    900 - 1400
    MAKE AN APPOINTMENT!
    Not sure if it is the same with the cats but with the dogs it is few months process because after the rabies shots, you have to do antibody titar test in certified lab in Novi Sad(vets sends it)…with that result and vet report you go to Rep.Veterinary Inspection and you get the EU travel form filled that you present at the border if asked.

    • @GizmoAndCompany
      @GizmoAndCompany  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Thank you! We got our rabies titre test done in Croatia and 3 months will have past before we re-enter the EU. Gizmo does have a microchip as it was required to initially enter the EU. 😊All we need now is an animal health certificate - we tried getting an EU pet passport but we were not eligible, so we had to work around it. Traveling with a pet is difficult and confusing but really worth it! ♥️

      That is great. You will still have to go to Veterinary Inspector located in Dedinje neighborhood . They will give you the filled form…you just pat tax 4500rsd i think…Serbia dog passport is recognized by the EU and USA…we traveled from Serbia and no problem…with plane they check but by car border officers don’t check often. The EU form is called anex IV(4).
