These scenes make it even more remarkable how Clark was able to do all this but on his own without another Kryptonian to help and also how extra ordinary the Kent family was.
Clark though had a slight benefit in that his powers gradually came in. Jordan's basically getting the full version in one go. Not that that diminishes Clark's struggle. All his powers won't help his son, he needs to be more Man then Super.
It just dawned on me that this is still a lot better than if Superman's teenage son were to develop X-ray vision first instead. Then they *definitely* wouldn't want him going to school!
It's such an amazing thing... to see this version of "Clois" being parents... PS. As an aside, wouldn't it be interesting to have Tom Welling have some smaller role in this universe? You know... to keep the tradition of "Superman" related actors appear for a bit?
From seeing many superhero series, i think enhanced senses are the hardest ones to control. Because they can overwhelm the mind due to sensory overload.
So wait, Jordan gets bombarded with near omniscient sensory perception and cheap noise cancelling headphones made for human biology allows him to achieve total silence? Wouldn’t he just continue to experience pain and be deafened by the many frequencies of sound produced by the electrical functions of the headphones themselves? I mean, if daredevil can hear things like electricity traveling and transferring, and other inaudible sounds produced by computer and electronic components wouldn’t it be way worse for a kryptonians ears?
You also have to remember that Jordan is half kryptonian half human so he does in turn have partial human physiology, thus the headphones assist but do not fully silence the sounds around him. They just make the noise more bearable.
I believe it's the headphones in combination with the placebo that putting them on will cancel out the noise. So basically to control it he needs to be able to activate the placebo without the headphones. If that makes any sense.
@@wyattflippin7610 You know, that’s actually quite clever. I absolutely understand what you’re saying. Because ultimately, the ability to control the intensity of his hearing is innate. Just like his father he is capable of that level of control, it’s just a matter of honing it. So, the fact that he knows the headphones were extremely effective at blocking sound when he had human hearing, they activate a sort of subconscious trigger that “tricks” him into using his own innate(yet unrefined) control to dampen the sound. I really like this theory, well done!
i havent watched this completley but i feel like it might turn out where jon starts getting annoyed of his brother and jealous that his powers are starting to develpo and then they might have some part where he starts leaning to the dark and his powers start developing course i dont think jonathan will actually turn evil
He is extremely jealous. You can tell by his sarcastic, snarky comments about lying to cover for Jordan; along with his XK use in previous episodes. Jon really wants those powers and he feels like he deserves to get them and not Jordan. Jon thinks that he's better than Jordan and I really hate that.
This show missed a golden opportunity for Tom Welling to be back on this show as a human Clark Kent who teaches Jordan while also helping Tyler's Clark on how and when to be a parent and a hero.
@@juliosalinas7634 that's how it would work. Apparently according to Flash, several universes were fused together to create Earth Prime. Smallvilles universe could've been 1 of those. Or Clark just comes to their universe for some reason. The jumbled writing of the Arrowverse could make it happen.

I like Clark’s alternative to get his son’s attention is to use his arctic breath instead of tap him on the shoulder or something
He could’ve asked Lois to tap him too!

This shows Superman's powers are no joke to master especially the sensory ones

Lois sad to see her son in pain is just heartbreaking 💔
It's 50/50 that your son who is half Kryptonian will have powers like you. Why the Hell is he so Surprised?
Listen to what u just commented he’s half kryptonian obviously he gonna think he doesn’t have power because he’s not a full kryptonian
Because it was previously said in an episode by the Hologram that Jordan wouldn't have powers or be like Supes because of his Human DNA interfering.
