- We're in Manila! We've headed to Manila in the Philipines for a trip to check out the Neo Classic car show as well as all of its car culture. We start things off on our first day with this absolutely stunning all-carbon Porsche 964 with a twin-turbo motor! From there we check out Karrera, a local coffee shop and car hang-out.

Love how it has vintage details and even no rain gutters etc but its not backdated like most of them are now 👌

Coolest detail is the SWB rearview mirror. So nice. The chromework would be complete if they swapped out the front and rear glass for the older style (with metal trim pieces).

I just love how timeless the Porsche design is. Just add some LED headlights to the car and it looks like new again. This carbon conversion is just crazy and a very nice example of adding new features to an old car without destroying the old look. It just keeps the old character and heritage of the car alive while being modern and fresh. It kinda reminds me of the CSF Porsche in LA or even the Gunther Werks Porsches. There definitely is a lot of cool stuff in Manila! Just a little heads up for the video, it seems like the audio has a bit too much gain so that your voice sometimes sounds a bit distored. Awesome video as always though!

Yes, you said that in the video ;). I meant to say that in a more general matter, like all you have to do is to install some new headlights on an old Porsche and they look like new again, kinda like the Honda NSX. This Porsche is just crazy good and the owner is so humble too @@dino_dc
Some great builds hanging around there. I wouldn't have minded a closer look at the Mini, though! Tuned ones are not to be underestimated. AFAIK the scene for them in Japan is huge as well.

This wais right in front of my university! Karrera's a great place to go to for a coffee after a long and tiring day of classes, especially since there are always cool rides around, even just in the general area. Hope to see you around again soon!

I always loved the 964 , but this one is on another level.
for sure dream spec 964, i'd do steel disks instead tho but in the philipines might be hot enough to get the carbons up to temp during regular driving, great selection there at the end with all those cars that were parked, the silvia had a great looking front bumper don't think i've seen that one before

how epic!!! dude I've seen stuff on this channel that I've either only heard of or had no idea. bro I've got to tell you that there is no one , nobody has been to any of most of these shops. its just mind melting to me as a Porsche guy but a tuner guy too. the Ferrari shop, j-auto these insane Porsche garage just hard as brick!!! outstanding sir, just 100% top notch. im sure you will bring the best but if you do need an idea. there's nobody who wouldn't love anything you come across that was from AMG Japan, if you got contacts to who has them hidden around. also promodet is just legendary and there's never been an English speaking video at their shop. just me being selfish and hope you get around either of those cars. again you don't need help with mega content so keep up the crazy sick content, its some of the best on CZcams without a doubt. cheers

I drove 20 years different 964s, don't change the outside if already Cup Mirrors are the package 😂. Even the ligths are okay. My last 964 had a 270PS dyno report on the "wheels". Turbo 3.6 Breaks front and rear. RS ABS. And 1280kg of total weight withought complet remove of the interior parts and additional carbon outside. This car is fast. The problem is the downforce on the tail. It has a stoneage rear axle not like the 993. Tail downforce is the thing. You get a 7:35 on the Nordschleife easily with a good setup.
20 years ago I developed a kit which allows the 3,6 Turbo break kit to fit under 17 Cup 1 wheels. In combination with a modification for the ABS when using green racing pads.
The next best invest is an EMS for the manuel gearbox and a full adjustable Bilstein. I drove my last 964 on 275 Cup1 on the rear, the Cup 1 were tailor fitted.
The next thing is, remove the complete air intake into the 993 setup. No mechanical air flow sensoring, instead programmable and mapping. I also used balanced titanium ventiles on my last car, and also 993 Ventiles plus cases. I removed my right front oil cooling and built a high pressure on low Temperatur "Trockensumpf". How can you do it, insert a second oilpump.
And then the beauty is fast, the sound is incredible 😂🎉
As I wrote, the 964 even the RS is a ducktail 😂

Would’ve been perfect normally aspirated with ITB’s & with that glorious sound from the exhaust to match.
Just too quiet & unpractical to have that amount of power in such a light car, unless one lives on bragging rights instead.
